Does the job at a good price

It's not blazing fast, it took a several hours to copy my backup files over, however once that was done it's pretty speedy for everyday use.

Although I receive a respectable 80 mb/s read speed, I get a paltry range of 15 - 50 mb/s write speed. This is perfect for office documents, but terrible for media. For example, three movies took a total of 45 minutes to transfer - no bueno. Also, this is a USB 3.1 Gen. 1 device, NOT a 3.1 Gen. 2. This means it’s an old USB 3.0 device with an updated naming convention. I will be returning this for a much quicker SanDisk 128GB Extreme PRO USB 3.1 Flash Drive.
