I was digitizing home videos for my parents. I put them on this USB drive to plug into the TV and it works well. You do have to be mindful that it may not take a file that that would fit it due to the transfer GB max is 4GB. What I did for a video is use open-source software called Handbrake to convert it to a smaller size without losing quality. That fixed it. I would recommend this USB drive.

Big storage in a tiny package

Wish it came with a lanyard of some sort cause it may be very easy to lose track of otherwise. Enclosure is plastic instead of metal but what can you expect for 20$ (sometimes 10$.) Would buy again if this one broke or came up missing.
