Drive is priced well. Extremely fast compared to contemporary electro-mechanical drives. Well worth the extra $$'s. These drives tend to fail hard when they do. Be sure that you are backed up. Well worth the downside. Highly recommended.

Coming from a WD blue as a boot drive this SSD has me rebooting in less than 10 seconds, cannot recommend Sandisk enough.

On a an old laptop with an i3 processor, 4 GB of RAM, & 32-bit Windows 10 , my start-up time was pushing 10 minutes on the old hard drive. 10 minutes, down to 20 seconds. It's been running great for two days. Even more impressive than the hardware performance itself was the fast, friendly, and effective phone support SanDisk gave me when I was having trouble getting my computer to recognize the hard drive. The technician gave me some tips & reassured me.

actual real life bench test result: burst read speed 495 and sequential read 460-465. in other words FAST! i benched many other brands that claim speeds of 520MB/s and so far of the many i have tested this one and samsungs came in the closest to their claimed speeds. (samsungs will be only about 20MB/s faster ) some other brands i have come across benched as low as 245MB/s. most were 360-400MB/s. as far as longevity goes ....not sure yet. ask me in 5 years.

The ssd drive is better than I was expected, great for upgrade windows computer and more room for date, good price!!!

SSD is the way to go! I have them in all my Macs. My girlfriends computer was having some drive(HDD) issues. Started reading reviews for this because it was on sale. Went a picked it up. Cloned her HDD to this and haven't had a problem since. She's using a 2009 Macbook unibody and this gave it a nice speed boost. No more waiting for applications to open up or slow boot up speed. This is a great SSD and would recommend it to any one on the fence. PLUS for the price, it's a great deal!

SSD works as advertised. Using it as a drive for Steam library games which need some extra speed (Civ VI) when loading. Good deal as a second drive with my smaller ssd as my OS drive and NVMe for Creative applications.
