Runs fast, no issues at all, easy installation. Good price point for the size

Laptops, Less power consumption and faster then HDD about 10 to 20% more battery life and a reduction of load time to make less time burning battery waiting. Desktops, Faster load then 7200 rpm HDD without the noise of a 10000 rpm or SCSI. Really fast in Raid stripe, but don't trust in parity for data safety stick with HDD. Always have a local, a cloud, and a off site backup of important data.

The SanDisk Ultra II is a great product, it has increased the speed and performance of my computer by 5 times. the boot up time is in seconds verse the previous drive that could take up to 1-2 minutes. Running several application hogs do not bog down the computer or cause it to constantly freeze up.

I swapped out a Sony 250 GB SSD for this larger capacity drive as the 250 GB was nearly full and had severe lag problems. It had replaced an original non-solid state drive and worked fine for 2 years . This new drive works fine but with a Windows 8 system I had to get a third party software and USB to SATA cable to clone the old files to the new SSD. This failed 3 times before finally working. It may have been some bad sectors on the old drive but can't be sure. Happy now and back to fast!!

I've tried a number of SSDs at this price point as upgrades on Mac machines. None are as reliable and fast as these SanDisk! The 480gb is even a bit quicker than the 240gb, which is also great. Machine improvement is unbelievable on older 2008-2010 hardware, keeping them from permanent retirement!

Very satisfied with performance Was easy to install Clear installation instructions online. Utilty to clone existing disc over to SSD was very easy to use and did it with any problems. Notebook boot up is now almost instantaneous.

After browsing around and getting lost in the different reviews and technicalities of SSDs, I settled on this one as it was priced right and available for same-day pickup. With a 3.5" adapter, I installed this in my desktop tower PC. I'd never opened up a desktop computer, but once I got reading and watching a few YouTube videos, the whole process was a synch! The software recommended by SanDisk was easy to use also. Now, my PC is lightning fast! This computer acts as my home theater server, and installing an SSD is the best thing I could've done for it! I also notice my home theater clients (mainly Apple TV 4s and Rokus) are more snapier and responsive. If you're unsure which SSD to buy, just take the plunge and get this one, it hasn't disappointed me!

Easy to install, definitely speeds up your PC! Get a transfer kit!

Bought 2 of these when on sale at BB with intentions to configure these in a RAID array as the boot drive for my new Pc build. Having built this system I'm happy to report that they work great. I built my system upon an ASUS Z170 Deluxe Motherboard running windows 10 64 bit. Had no trouble with these drives and I'm happy with there speed/responsiveness.

Solid state drive is the way to go! Very durable and SUPER FAST!

I love this drive. It is super fast and works flawlessly during multi-tasking and running multiple programs. Worked right out of the box and boot time and shutdown time is insanely fast. Programs open up almost instantly.

This SSD proved to be the best upgrade option for my laptop. After RAM was increased to 8 Gbytes, boot time and application launch were still quite slow. A clean OS install and install of all apps resulted in a complete bootup and application launch in just under 15 seconds! Time to start upgrading the rest of my PC's with this drive.

Lightning fast, works right out of box. no issues so far!

I been buying SanDisk flashdrives and memory cards for years. I've also been using SanDisk SSD at work for about a year now. They've been installed about 30 laptops without any failures... and I know they're getting thrashed pretty hard because they're also whole disk encrypted. I would highly recommend SanDisk products like this SSD.

SATA 3 interface, 480 Gigabytes, write speed = 500 MB/s, read speed = 550MB/s for $149.00 with 3 year warranty. Mounts nicely in desktop bay or laptop. Drive weighs so little that a mounting tray is not needed in desktop. Delivers boot to Windows 10 in about 20 seconds using 2009 intel i7 core MOBO. Will purchase another for backup.
