The card was already formatted for use for pictures and videos. It seems responsive when recording and playing videos that are stored to it. This micro SD card comes with the adapter to allow it to be used as a full size SD card.

Lots of storage

I got the warning that I needed to free up some space so I decided to get the most storage I could find and I bought the 128 GB disc. It is great--now I have lots of storage and it is so easy to install. Just slip it into the slot and you are ready to go. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
