Not as well built as I had expected but does look well in most environments. It works much better @ minimum height but once you extend the height it becomes a crooked mess.

These stands do the job. Surprisingly, none of the adaptors fit my widely used Sony remote speakers (SRS-ZR5), but the adhesive pads provided work well. The pictures of these stands (and others) never show the power cord for the speakers, which has to drop to the floor outside the vertical tube of the stand. This detracts from the appearance. Thus, no such pictures. I used black electrical tape around the tube every few inches to tightly secure the cord to the outside of the tube. Looks okay. I would prefer the cord to run down to the floor inside the tube. With this caveat, I recommend this product.
