Just ok. Don’t stay extended like they should

I was able to fashion a holder with nuts, bolts and a couple wing nuts, but that’s not what I expected when I purchased the product. The arms don’t stay extended like they should, and slip to the regular length routinely. I would not purchase again, but I got them from a Best Buy over 100 miles from my house and didn’t feel like driving back to return them, so I made them work for me

Sorry to hear that. What is the model number of your speakers? Any additional info here would be helpful. Also, is your screw to tighten them when extended not working? They should stay in place when extended as long as your speakers are under the stand's 10lbs weight limit.

One of the two appeared to work fine at first and the other screw/knob wouldn't even thread in. Like several others, the two pieces would collapse due to insufficient design not able to hold the 5 pound weight of the speaker. I ended up having to drill thru and sink a screw in to each. At this price point I was expecting better overall quality and solution. However, they do look pretty good and have several mounting options to work with most surround speakers.
