They give you a plastic screw that supposed to hold the speaker up. Did not work so well so I had to drill and set a screw to hold it in place.

Since a new replacement stand would still have poor thread design, I decided to drill a hole in the stand at the height desired and inserted a self tapping screw.

It seemed like a quality stand overall, they just went cheap on that one part which ruined the entire product. Avoid.

I would recommend this to a friendLoose bolts make for wobbly stands.

They stripped easily so the stand wobbles on the base. This I can tolerate but the bolts that lock the stands at different heights broke the first time I had to readjust. Luckily the lowest height actually works for my living room.
