Was a great buy. Was easy to assemble and look good with the speakers mount. Like the fact that they are adjustable.

Cant believe the bad reviews here

Seriously this thing blew my expectations away. Very nice textured finish, sturdy design, has multiple attachments to fit different speaker types and sizes. I was worried it wouldn't hold my 16b bookshelf speakers so I set some dumbbells on top of it at the max height. It held 2 5lb dumbbells and 2 7lb ankle wieghts without sliding down or feeling like it was going to break. Came with carpet spikes and rubber feet, seriously theres no reason for the bad reviews imo.

      Hi,

Thanks for reaching out. We're sorry to hear you aren't satisfied with your stands. These stands can hold speakers up to 10 lbs. Are the speakers you were planning to use within the weight limit? We'd love to hear more details, so we can share any specific issues you had with our product development team.

I bought these stands for some HTIB sattelites, but these stands are dynamic enough for me to get larger bookshelf speakers and should hold them with no problem. I highly recommend these stands to anyone looking for some high quality good looking stands!

Bought 4 of this for front and rear speaker (Definitive ProMonitor 8oo). It came with many adapters for different small speaker sizes, can be adjust the height and hide speaker wire, the manual is clear and easy to follow, can stand on bare floor or carpet (came with 3 pins for each stand can be attach or remove). Overall this product is great, I recommend for everyone who's looking for stand that is affordable, sturdy, looking good , fit many small speaker size, should give it a try, you won't disappoint.

Just set these up a few days ago and so far I really like the look and feel of these. These are the first speaker stands I have ever purchased and they are being used for 2 surround sound speakers. The speakers are from a H.T.I.B. system by Onkyo. They did not actually have any way to "screw" them in to any of the mounting brackets as the speakers are designed. But, these units come with some flat plates that you can just rest the speakers on and they are more than large enough for that with these speakers. They also provide some rubber with double sided tape on them to stick to the bottom of the speaker and then to the flat bases of the speaker stands. I tried running some speaker cable in the pole, but with my final setup I ended up not needing to do it. It was not an easy task to run the wire that could improve on that. The instructions are the typical "visual aids" that you see most of the time now, it would be nice if they did have some words to go along with some of the less intuitive pictures. Also, the parts list and the parts bags are kind of confusing. They labeled some of the parts bags but what was in them was either different or extra from what the label showed. I was able to figure everything out, as most people will be, but it would be nice if they would have taken it the step further and either fully labeled each bag with all parts in it, or just left the labels off all together. I have them sitting on a carpet and the carpet feet make them feel sturdy on my setup. I also have the Rocketfish wireless units from Best Buy (RF-RBKIT and RF-RBREC) and placed both of the Wireless Receivers below my speakers on the flat base of the speaker stand and then placed my speakers on top of that. The wife likes the look and it keeps my wireless receivers from taking up room in other places, so it worked out great.

These are definitely worth the slightly higher price compared to the other version of these offered. For the extra $20, these are able to be adjusted higher, it's much easier to feed the wires through the stand and they are sturdier. I'm very pleased with the product.

    Great Speaker Stand

I bought this speaker stand set when it was on sale for my surround speakers in the living room. Assembly was fairly straight forward. The most time consuming part was drilling a few holes in my speakers boxes to attach them to the stands. There are plenty of options for mounting the speakers, but they won't support all types of speakers (like in my case). I'm not surprised because my speakers are old. The base of the stand is nice and heavy to help keep the center of gravity low, thus increasing stability. You can feed the speaker wire through the stand to keep it out of the way and hide the wire. Overall, a good set of speaker stands.

    GOOD BUY!!

I've had 2 other sets of stands in various rooms, and kept trying something new the next time -- till these -- these are very solid, no slippage with height, and have many options for attaching speakers -- have these in basement for Def Tech 800s, may get another pair for living room now that I know there is really a difference -- only negative is getting the speaker wire thru the pole, a one-time frustration, but now all's well

    Universal TV Stands

You can use these stands with almost any small shelf speakers. They do take a little time a patience to get the wiring through. But once you do they work great. The base on them is a little big so it makes it hard to push your furniture all the way back.

    Would have rated higher, but...

I would have given these stands four stars, but for a defective part. One of the six rubber feet was too fat and wouldn't fit in the hole. The other 5 were OK. It's interesting how a small, cheap part can render a pair of speaker stands useless. We'll see how long it takes Sanus to ship me a new one. (I could, of course, go to a hardware store and buy six replacement feet, but that defeats the purpose and convenience of buying online.) The stands are otherwise decent and should do the job. However, I wouldn't use them for really expensive speakers. As an aside, Best Buy's price, online ordering process and speed of delivery were excellent. (Best Buy, ditch the exclamation point after "I would recommend this to a friend." I don't get that excited about hardware.)

The speaker stands are great. The actual assembly of the stand went well. It was a little work threading my speaker wire through the stand for a good clean look. I have pretty large gauge wire and it was a little tight and difficult threading the wire through.

These stands support my two satellite speakers of the definitive Technology ProCinema speakers. Provides good support and stays in place on the carpeted floor with the help of the pointed feet.

Very sturdy with Def Tech ProMonitor 800

These are solid stands with relatively heavy metal components. They're holding Definitive Technology ProMonitor 800 (4.5 lbs) and using the carpet spikes gets them in there very well. You can of course still tip them if you push, but just standing there they won't go anywhere.

Easy to assemble and ready within minutes. Like other poster mentioned, it didn't come with a bracket for my speakers so I just placed the speakers on top of the big top platform.

    Excellent stands

These stands are very easy to assemble, come with many adapters for mounting the speakers, and look great. Unfortunately there was not an adapter for my speakers so I had to use the double sided tape and now the mounting plate is loose but the speaker is stuck to it and I can't get to the screw.

I have four of these for a 7.1 channel surround my surround and surround backs are all four mounted to these using the double sided tape. The speakers are all polk monitor 2 30 series and the stands hold them just fine in carpet with carpet spikes. Only downfall is one out of each box doesn't like to tighten the extension rod so it's secure I had to replace my plastic knobs with longer screws which worked much better overall perfect for using surrounds over the top of couches and many other uses
