    Our child with autism has knocked th small TV off their short TV stand a few times and it broke. We don't have a spot for a wall mount, so we hooked this up and tethered it to the TV stand. Of course, the TV can still move backwards, but it can't go forward or to the side enough to fall. This seems to have solved the issue.
