Yes, this doesn't work on a glass table since you have to drill this into your furniture. However, you can drill this into your wall behind the furniture or the legs of the furniture of those are not glass. Please let us know if you need anything else.

These straps do the job. Moreover, they are sturdy and well-made. The package includes all of the needed mounting hardware for a variety of situations and TV models. Bolts were not compatible with Samsung HDTV

However, the spacers provided were not compatible with my Samsung TV. I notice that others have commented about this. Wasted time buying extra hardware. The Sanus rep. tried to be helpful--by saying they couldn't help me. He told me to mark the depth of the mounting holes on a straw and bring the bolt and straw to the hardware store and they would give me the correct item. That worked. Just sayin'.

We opted for the latter. It has been great and has prevented our daughter from toppling the TV over several times already!

Sanus says mount to lower holes but that wouldn't work. Samsung says mount to upper holes. That did work. Straps barely reached upper holes. Might not work for larger than 65" TV.

I thought it would definitely be ok for my tv set since it is one of the most popular brands, but it is not.... Maybe because it is a low profile? (Thin set)
