These speaker stands are custom made for the Sonos speakers and provide a sleek and sturdy design to hold the speaker at the optimal listening level as well as optimal placement in the room. The stands are well made and sturdy enough to hold a heavy speaker like the Sonos Era 300. They are fairly easy to assemble with a different part depending on which speaker you have. Also, if setting up on carpet there are optional carpet spikes that can be installed so that the stands remain stable on carpet. Once assembled they can be placed in the room for optimal sound quality. The height can be adjusted up and down and even at the higher levels the stands remain stable and sturdy. Once placed, make sure and run the Sonos setup again so that the speaker adjusts to the new location. Another benefit of the stands is that they can hide the cords in the stand so there is less clutter in the room. The cord can be pushed into the stand and routed through the bottom of the stand so that it is barely visible in the room. Overall, I'm pleased with the stands and would recommend them to other Sonos customers.

Missing screws and adjustable stand can't hand the weight or sonos era 300. The weight eventually lowered the adjustment and the power of sound drops the height faster. This strand is over priced and trash quality.

Best Buy ordered these speakers for my TV sound system. When arrived, they did not fit the speakers for the TV. Service people took it back to the store and exchanged for other speaker stands which also didn't work

The Sanus Elite adjustable height speaker stand is by far the highest quality speaker stand I have ever seen or owned. When I first got them the first thing I noticed is how heavy the box was. Which was mostly the weight of the base. This is understandable since the ERA 300 speakers are quite heavy. I really would not expect anything less though after getting familiar with Sanus products. Everything about their products exudes quality. These speaker stands are very well-made and good looking especially with the Sanus ERA 300 sitting on top of them. I just can not wait until I can put a complete surround sound system together with the Sanu's line. I have already figured out what I want now it is just a matter of acquiring the products pieces at a time. With the cost of them, I would think I am not the only one to do it that way. One thing that is really attractive about Sanus is the wireless system that along with the sound quality of course. The ERA 300 speakers really are impressive. They sound very clean and loud with a nice range. Back to the speaker stands I love the way they designed the pole on these things. Instead of a simple round pole like so many others, it is a very sleek-looking unit made out of some kind of high-grade composite material that is lightweight. The bases are obviously painted steel and look to be powder coated. Very nice indeed and the assembly is simple and straightforward. If you can screw things together you can assemble these stands. I rarely do believe they add some class to your living room or home theatre compared to other speaker stands. I guess that is part of the Sanu's experience and it is appreciated. Once assembled the stand are nice and stable even on carpet thanks to the weight of the bases. If you own the ERA 100 or 300 speakers and want to use them as your front main speakers or rear surround these stands are a great way to get them in the exact location you want them for optimum sound. I would not go in any other direction if you are investing in the speakers. I do not believe you could find a more refined product in my opinion. I am definitely happy with mine.

The Sanus Elite speaker stand is an excellent choice for the Sonos Era 300 speaker. Not only does it allow you to adjust the height but also allows you to secure the power cable. It's a nice look when you don't have a power cord just dangling around. It's perfect for any set up like home theater or if you preference of having the speakers elevated. It's well designed that it pairs well with the Sonos Era speaker. You can also get it in Black or White to match the color of your speaker. Installation took right around 20mins. All you need is a Phillips screw driver to attached the bottom base to the pillar including the top bracket. After you have those two components attached to the pillar you attached the Sonos Era 300 speaker to the bracket. There are two screws that go to the bottom of the speaker to help keep it secured in place. I don't have the official Sonos Speaker stand to compared it, but so far the Sanus Elite has been a good alternative. It's solid and stable that I don't have any concerns of the speaker just tipping over easily. I highly recommend you go with the Sanus Elite speaker stand.

Descent Stand for Your Era 100 or 300

If you want to position your new Sonos Era speaker in your room without placing on a table or shelf, then the Sanus Elite is for you. Setup for the stands was relatively simple. You will need to read the instructions to make sure you use the correct screws in the correct places and attached the proper mounting bracket to your speaker based on which of the Eras you have. I have the Era 100, by the way. As part of the setup process, you will need to thread the power cable through the base before you attach the speaker to the stand. The power cable then hides inside the pole for a clean look. The stand itself is relatively nice looking. It's as simple as it gets without being too bulky. I was a bit surprised at its overall thickness and weight, but I guess it makes sense given these are not regular speakers. The Sonos Era 100 is pretty heavy, and I can only imagine how heavy the Era 300 is (as I have not seen that one in person). You can adjust the stand height pretty low and pretty high. Perfect for having a speaker at "sofa ear level" or higher if you need it to reach over a table or something taller. There's this plastic tool you are supposed to use to help raise or lower the stand height, but I am still to this day unsure how it works. But I can still position it to my liking. No place to hide the tool after using it, so I just tucked it under the base. The base comes with two different types of feet: rounded for hard floors and spikes for carpets. Being that I have hard floors, I use the rounded pads. They work find and I don't feel like they will damage my wood flooring. I'm not sure how well the carpet spikes would work, so I cannot really comment on those. My overall complaint is really with the base. The top base cover is a plastic material, and it looks kind of cheap-looking and large. Again, I guess I understand the size because it needs to hold heavy speakers. I just wish the base cover wasn't plastic because it can easily scratch if you have a low sofa or something. Just keep that in mind. Otherwise, if you want a stand for your Sonos Era 100 or 300 speakers for your room, or to have as part of an integrated Sonos Entertainment System, the Sanus Elite do a great job.

Sanus has insanely over delivered on this pair of Sanus Elite adjustable height speaker stands for the Sonos ERA 100 and 300. I do not know what I was expecting from a speaker stand for a high end speaker such as the Sonos ERA 300, but Sanus trumped any expectation I could have mustered up. First off, upon opening the box, I was met with an assembly kit. Normally, I would groan at having any type of difficult assembly. Surprisingly though, I was more shocked and impressed with the superior quality and craftsmanship of these two stands. My would be groaning turned more into respect that upon completion, I feel confident that my Sonos’ will be well mounted on a stable and stylish stand. The stands themselves are made of top grade material and are each quite heavy. I have a huge great Pyrenees who weighs over 140 pounds, and the stand did not topple over when he bumped one of them while investigating it the first time I put it out. For my living space, I chose to use the stands at an unadjusted height and found that for the 300’s it just looks better. The other concern I ran into is the cool feature of being able to hide the cabling inside the stand but then having enough slack for them. Ultimate thoughts are if you are in the market for excellent speaker stands to compliment your Sonos ERA 100s or 300s, look no further than the Sanus Elite. Ten out of ten, I would highly recommend them.

    Sanus Elite Adjustable-Height Speaker Stands

The Sanus Elite Adjustable-Height speaker stands for the ERA 100 and 300 speakers are sturdy and have 17 inches of adjustable height. The oversized base plate holds the larger ERA 300 speakers without wobbling. The base plate has either rubber feet or carpet spikes. For the ERA 100 the overall height of the stand fully extended is 42.74 inches from the floor to the top of the speaker adapter without the speaker attached. The minimum height of the fully collapsed stand is 25.74 inches. The ERA 300 adapter is just slightly thicker than the ERA 100 adapter. The stand has a wire chase built into the rear of the stand, there are rubber grommets provided to keep the wires hidden. The height adjustment is completed by either pulling up on the speaker or pressing the button and allowing the pole to collapse. The Sanus Elite Adjustable-Height Speaker Stands come with everything you need to put them together except a Phillips head screwdriver. The assembly time is approximately 7 minutes. As a note the screws for the ERA 100 speaker adapter on stored on the underside of the cardboard insert at the bottom of the box.

This stand cannot hold the weight of the 300 speakers. It slowly slides down and cannot be locked in place. The Geek Squad guy doing the install gave up. I used some black duct tape to hold the speaker stand height in place. Not good.
