Great Speaker Stands!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received the SANUS Elite Adjustable-Height Speaker Stands for Sonos Era 100 and 300 Speakers (Pair) - Black. I am very impressed with these stands as they seem to be very well made and durable, has a nice sleek modern looking design and goes well with any home decor. The base is quite heavy and sturdy and holds the speaker well Height adjustment of 17 inches for optimal listening, cable management Integrated through post cable management for a sleek look, added stability includes rubber feet & height adjustable carpet spikes for any floor, sturdy oversized base helps prevent tipping in any direction. Assembly was easy and the instructions were clear, assembly only requires a regular phillips screwdriver ( not included). Follow the instructions in the correct order as cables need to be routed before the pillar is attached to the base, also when installing the speaker brackets, they are different depending on if you have Sonos Era 100 or 300 speakers. Overall I am very satisfied with these stands and recommend to anyone upgrading to Sonos’s new Era speakers.

Sanus elite
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was purchased some ERA 300’s and wanted some stands and these are for the ERA 100’s as well. Anyways these things are kind of middle of the line. The era 300’s are way to big for them making them look weird and I returned the 300’s bought the 100’s and now I got rattling coming from them when playing music. Overall I’m not very impressed especially with the cheap quick realest and just over all build quality. I regret not buying the stands from Sonos and i wish I had the time to return these but unfortunately I’m just going to live with them and never play music. I have their stands on my play ones I don’t know why these are so funky. Really unhappy for the price.

Well designed & works for any small bookshelf SP!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even if these stands are designed for Sonos Speakers, the well balanced weight of the base and its strong structure makes it possible to install any small bookshelf speakers, not only the SONOS brand. The provided attachment speaker bases and their brackets only works for the SONOS Era 100 and 300 speakers, but I made a couple of flat wood bases and adapted them to stand and the bookshelf speaker remained fixed, immovable. There is no way that the stand will lose the balance because of the heavy-sturdy base and the strong adjustable pillars. The height adjustment locking mechanism is strong, and will not slip down. To adjust the height there is a release trigger that is included in the HW packaging, don’t miss it. I have the Sonos ERA 100, and using the provided appropriate base, which matched perfectly, color and design, and the right screw to attach them, I found that the higher position is perfect for great sounding at ear level. The Sanus base for the Sonos Era 100 has two interlocking plates, one is a molded polystyrene piece which you’ll fasten to the bottom of the speaker, and the other is a metal plate that gets attached to the stand. The whole appearance of the speaker-stand combination is aesthetically appealing, and it looks great in my living room. And for the sound quality, it is definitely improved because the sound dispersion is done in a more effective way rather than having the speakers sitting on tabletops. The stands are elegant, looks great, sturdy, solid, made from durable steel and extruded aluminum, with heavy bases and firmly pillars that will keep the speakers stable and upright. You can feel confident that they will hold the speakers in a stable position all the time. To assemble them was fast and easy, it took me at the most around 10 minutes to assemble them, like 14 screws counting the 4 spikes of each base for carpet (it also includes rubber inserts) and a regular Phillips screwdriver (not included). Just follow the instructions and identify the correct screw for each part. You can download a more detailed setup guide in pdf format from the Sanus website. These stands come with everything you need, and it also includes the hardware to hide the wires on the back of the pillars. Definitely worth it due to its aesthetic, functionality, and reliability for my SONOS speakers.

Good solid looking stands
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Stands are nice, however 1 of the stands does not stay in the adjustable height position. The stand is flawed, however, the other one works just fine.

Slip down
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Height Adjustment Locking Mechanism is faulty and the Era 300's weight makes the stand slip down to the lowest level.

Good alternative to the non-adjustable Sonos stand
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The stands are study and heavy. It took less than 15mins to get everything assembled and installed with just a screw driver. The stand is weighted well at the bottom with either rubber feet for hard floors or spikes for carpeting (was surprised to see that). Plates are included for both the 100 and 300 Sonos Eras. So if your not using one of the other speakers or on carpet those extra parts will likely get placed in a parts bin for the rest of time. I would've liked to have seen a plate that can adapt to either speaker or spikes that retract into the feet (similar to some tripod feet). Having the adjustable height is a feature that is welcome, but it isn't a one handed operation unless I step on the base to adjust it. But the stand isn't prone to being adjusted over and over. Usually you will set it up somewhere and it will live there at that height but there is no good storage place for the adjustment lever. I tuck it into the open slot between the lower shaft and the upper shaft. Its not the most elegant solution, but it's better than losing it. I do like to move the Era 100 around from place to place, and sometimes I don't need the stand. The base could've had a better quick detach plate that can use it without the stand like on a counter. I need to look into getting a separate power cable so I dont need to unroute the power cable from the stand. Overall the stands are clean looking with very good cable management and do their job once they are setup. As of now I have them set up in 2 different rooms so I can bring my 1 speaker back and forth. As I mentioned I'd like to get another power cable or 2 so that I can use them without having to undo the cable. The Sanus Elites are a good alternative to the more expensive non adjustable Sonos stands.

Sturdy and well made
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Review for SANUS Elite - Adjustable-Height Speaker Stands for Sonos Era 100 and 300 Speakers (Pair) - Black These speaker stands are designed to be used with either a pair of Sonos Era 300 or the smaller Era 100 speakers and come with custom hardware that lets you set them up with either type. I have the larger (and heavier) Era 300, so I was concerned about these stands being robust enough to both support the speakers and to have a base that was hefty enough to prevent toppling. Sanus scores A+ on both counts. Out of the box, it’s clear that these are top quality in material and workmanship. The instructions are well-illustrated and simple to follow, with specific set up instructions for each speaker type. It took me about five minutes to assemble each stand. It’s important to follow the first step carefully, which shows you how to feed the cables through the post prior to attaching it to the base. Failing to do this will mean disassembling and reassembling unnecessarily. Previously, I had these speakers on shelves, which look nice, but are not the optimal setup since the speakers need a certain amount of space around and behind them. These Sanus stands let me position the speakers for better stereo separation and the best sound. I’m looking forward to linking them with a new Sonos sound bar in the future for some top-notch surround sound!

Premium Product for a Premium Speaker
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sanus, known for premium TV and speaker mounts and stands, has made a new speaker stand to work with the new Sonos Era 100 and 300 speakers. Available in white or black to match the speakers or your personal preference, they promise to offer a clean and stable minimalist look for your speakers. In the box, you’ll find a pair of stands and instructions. The box is quite heavy, these are well weighted bases to keep your pricy Sonos speakers secure if they are bumped while on the stands. Assembly is really straightforward, with just a few Philips head screws. There is a channel in the back to hide the speaker power cord so the end result is a very clean look. Adjusting the height is a clever trigger mechanism that once adjusted can be removed to lock the speaker in place and prevent someone from accidentally releasing the mechanism and dropping the speaker height. There are also rubber feet for hardwood surfaces or carpet spikes if you need to secure the speakers on carpet. Overall, these are minimal and modern and should fit in with any décor that also has the Era speakers in it. If you have a single speaker that needs a home, or a stereo pair, or are super fancy and using Era speakers as surround rears in a full Sonos surround speaker arrangement, these stands will add a classy and secure way to set them up.
