      I got this shelf to put my DVD player and my cable box, because my new apt has none. I went to Best Buy and they recommended this product. It hold my gadgets firmly and I just love the look it gives me living room frame!

      This shelf is a great add on for flat screens that are placed in areas with little space. The shelf takes up little wall space under the television and allows for safe storage of additional equipment.

      The shelf cost a pretty penny - between $40-50. It's only a piece of glass in a slot. The package claims it holds up to 40 pounds, but there's no way. I have the tiniest non-dvr cable box on it and tried to add a bottle for decoration and it nearly broke.
