After customization, this product worked quite well. When we opened the package, we realized that the hardware was not included. Called customer service, and they sent the needed items in the mail right away with no problem. We had to cut the item down in order for it to fit the tv; despite it stating that it was the appropriate size.

This wall mount didn't allow for any room for the plugs on the backside of the TV. Therefore our TV can't just tilt how we would like it - it actually has to tile UP! And my husband could barely get his hand behind the TV to tighten it to make it secure.

When mounting my Samsung TV to this mount the instructions were not clear on how to use the spacer. I had to return the mount. When I discussed the issue with the sale person, they were unable to help.

You get what you pay for. Ok, so I know I used this mount for the largest TV it is rated for, 60" Plasma. so maybe my complaints are application specific. All the hardware needed was included, the instructions were easy to understand, and the installation is fairly simple. My complaints are in regards to having enough space for a surge protector/power filter to be plugged in behind the tv. They do provide spacers to give you more clearance off the wall though. The mount provides two conveinient adjustment which are very nice for the DIY. The first being the obvious tilting feature, the second is two adjustments to finely tune the leveling of the tv for those of us that didn't hang our mount perfectly level. These adjustments are both nice but the allen wrench they provide doesn't have the clearance to turn once the tv is on the wall. Since these adjustments need to be made while the tv is mounted, it makes for having to buy some tools.

We are using this wallmount with our 47 inch LED LCD. The wall mount can certainly hold the weight and tilts easily. Pretty simple to remove tv when needed. Few things to keep in mind. 1. In order to get to the cable connections on the back of the tv, the tv needs to be removed from the wall mount. Side connections can be reached with out removal. 2. Any adjustments needed via the supplied allen wrench will need to be done with the tv removed from the mount. The supplied allen wrench is not long enough due to the size of the tv and how close the tv sits to the wall. (Probably be sufficient with a 40 inch or smaller tv)

I was skeptical to purchase this mount due to the two star rating and I just bought a 47" LED. Keep some things into perspective. This is a tilt only mount so it will be closer to the wall than a full motion. It does come with spacers to move the TV away from the wall. I used the smallest spacers and my TV is 2-1/2” away from the wall. That is a little too far for me but you must have some tradeoffs so you can still make minor adjustments as needed for the tilting and the cord routing. 8 Screws total and 1-1/2 hours total mounting time for me because I had to change the position of the brackets on the back of the TV twice to get my perfect height. For the price, it is a great mount….perfect, no but a great mount nonetheless. For my application it works!

Fairly easy to install if you read the instructions very close. Great mount for the money. Hugs the wall.

The Sanus TV wall mount is an excellent value, i.e., its performance far exceeds its cost. The greatest thing was how easy it was to install. Every possible screw, washer, spacer, etc., was supplied with the kit -- nothing extra to buy. If I ever have to get another wall mount, it will definitely be a Sanus; and at Best Buy prices, I also will likely purchase it at Best Buy.

Sturdy and easy to install. I like the adjustabilty feature that allows you to level the T.V. after it is mounted on the wall. Also includes all the mounting hardware (bolts, nuts etc.) so no trips needed to the hardware store.

Needed wall mount for 70" Sharp LED TV. This one is designed to mount solidly to the wall studs, and can handle the weight of this large TV and allow for a bit of tilt for better viewing. Measure carefully, and keep the primary wall mounted portion level. Will need an extension tool to reach the adjustment bolts with this large of a TV.

Easy mounting, very straight forward. Once the monitor is mounted, there's very little room to maneuver a hand behind the set to make or reconfigure connections, so it's best to mount the set with cables attached. Here's a workaround, in the event you, as I needed to, discover you didnt' optimize the original connections. Make a facetime call from one iPhone to another; reverse the camera direction, making it easier to hold the preferable side of the camera with rubberized back to the wall; place a flashlight behind the set for illumination; holding the iPhone with one hand behind the set and sliding it around the rear around the connection panel, monitor what's what from the other iPhone; when you find the right port, put the monitor phone down, freeing a finger to hold over the desired port; put the other phone down and grab the cable connector, orient and place it.

I'm a secretary and I installed myself. Very simple to do. Only problem I had was I didn't follow the Order of instruction. Instructions read to install hooks on back of TV FIRST. I measusred my height and width on the wall first to where I wanted the TV. Only problem was that the way the hook hangs on the bracket, is lower on the TV, so when I put it on the bracket, the TV was 14" Higher than I expected. ALTHOUGH, due to my error it worked out perfect. I placed my receiver and middle speaker below it and it is the excat higth.

Bought this to mount my 46 inch Insignia LED TV on a finished wall. Also bought the Wiremold Flat-Panel TV Cord and Cable Power Kit for $99.99. I could not be more satisfied. Every home project that I do has some terrible problem but this install was flawless. Sanus.com offers a calculator where you put your TV model and mount model in, tell it how high you want the TV and it gives you the exact height to drill the holes! Got the mount installed and the cables ran through the wall in about 2 hours (including reading the instructions). I very highly recommend this set up!

Purchased this one over the RocketFish product because the online version reads "Compatible with most 32" - 70" flat-panel TVs" but store signage says" ... up to 56". An average DIY'er, I installed this in less than an hour. Hardest part, aside from lifting the 60" TV alone (not advisable) was positioning the mount after finding the center point, so that it hits studs on both sides with the right clearance at top, bottom and on either side. The brackets mounted easily to the back of the TV using the TV's screws but the product comes with several different size screws if needed. After drilling four holes the mount attached easily and feels extremely sturdy. Opted for the tilt version over the low profile but be advised that there is still little room to plug in cables.

I purchased two of these. One holds a 50" Panny plasma and the other holds a 55" Panny plasma. Does exactly what I wanted them to do. Holds a large heavy TV and tilts. That's all I needed.

This TV mount was a great value and works fine. Easy to install. The TV is installed over a fireplace and I expected a little more tilt but overall works fine.
