Without modifications to the part that lets one adjust pitch & yaw the unit will not tighten causing my front heavy projector to droop down. Maybe it was a bad run but both new in box units I tried (purchased from separate stores) had the same problem. When showing to BB staff they had the same issue. Seems to be a production defect. Also the first unit I bought had a screw that could only be moved with pliers. Overall not very impressed with this product and would not recommend it to anyone.

The brackets to secure the mount don't allow to securely lock into position you want after adjusting. I am sure that I will have to continually adjust my projector to keep it in position.

Easy to mount
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this a few months ago for my new Epson 3020e. I must admit, the instructions were a bit confusing but, manageable. Took a few minutes to connect everything together but, it all went as planned. The plastic covers (two different colors) are a little flimsy but, they are made to snap into place. Mine did with little trouble. Once it was mounted (I installed additional blocking in the ceiling for mine. My choice), all I had to do was adjust the mounts to center the projector. Took a bit of doing but, got everything set in about 20 minutes. I haven't had a single problem with it in the 2 months it has been up. The locking mechanism is a great system. Loosen a few thumb screws and the projector comes right off. Buying a second one so I can easily relocate the projector downstairs...and since my projector is wireless, this is a good bracket to have.

I didnt want to wait to install the new projector so I bought this one rather than ordering one online. I found it to be easy to install and fairly quick. Its sturdy and holds my projector firmly and looks good with the cover. The hardest part is going in the attic to install the wooden brace between the rafters for support. I used a piece of a 2x10 and four three inch deck screws. Im not worried about it falling down now. Overall good product and easy install if you have some basic handyman skills. Also comes with several different size screws to fit various thread sizes.

Great Mount for Projector

The mount worked great for the larger projector and it feels and looks very solid. I'd very much recommend this mount if you have a larger projector that you need to mount, it does cost more but it costs much less than a projector that fell because you cheeped out on the mount.

Gets the Job Done!

Yea its a big expensive but its very well built - the directions were lacking in my opinion, but if you're installing this you probably already know what you're doing. The round covering to hide the mechanicals of it are pretty chincey though, so if you're depending on that thin plastic that doesn't fit right to hide all your mechanicals of the mount - I would think of a different plan. Mine is outside so it really doesn't matter to me ..
