They work well and are a fantastic value. I esp appreciate their noise canceling ability so that background HVAC sounds do not interfere with my narrations!

It is SUPER sensitive, and picks up tons of background noise. When placed on a person's shirt or collar and speaking in a normal voice it overloads, severely distorting the sound. In order to speak into it it without distortion you have to wear it on your belt or jeans pocket. Even then a loud word will still distort. I have never had any microphone this bad. I would have given it one star, but I allowed for how cheap it is. This is one case that shows you get what you pay for--very little.
