Gets hot quickly

It does get hot pretty quickly so I wouldn’t recommend this if your planning on connecting your laptop to a monitor. I mostly use it to connect a usb drive or a sd card to my mac.

I read the reviews before I bought this. Someone mentioned it as well, it gets warm. So I just disconnect the power to get it cooled when not in use.
