I use it for my Bluetooth mouse and keyboard plus hdmi to the tv which allows me to play games on the tv from my macbook so it does the job

overheats, ports stop working until it cools down. For a premium product was expecting better quality.

This slim line adapter does everything I needed it to do. Hook to ethernet, and all other standard USB port attachments.

This was not very good and over heated after only 30 minutes of use. Then for some reason did not connect to my MacBook.

If you have an older SD HC I card, this reader is fine. If you have a newer SD HC II card as do I, it is not so fine - it will not work. The other ports are OK.

It is poorly built. The external display stopped working in just 5 months. Looking at the cost it appeared this would be better than others available on the market with quarter of a price, but this is not a good product.

Cord is too short and the area where the internet cable is supposed to plug in is very tight and it didn't fit. Wasn't able to return because Best Buys return policy- which is ridiculous.

Not a fan of the aluminum body, would prefer a kind of rubber feeling for the device. The SD card slot didn't work every time.

Nice product.. gets really hot though but works with all sorts of devices that need power.

Works great when paired with the ROG Zephyrus G14. My desktop did not recognize the device but it was bought to use with my laptop.

This is a really nice multi-port, pocket USB-C hub. Since modern laptops have essentially done away with the ports that are, well, essential for many of us these types of adapters have become absolutely crucial. I have owned a couple of different portable USB-C hubs over the last couple of years, and this is by far the most compact one I have for it's capabilities. This is basically a tubular aluminum docking station and it has all of the ports I need to run my laptop as an office computer. I tested this adapter by plugging in a portable SSD, mouse receiver, HDMI output to a 4k monitor, SD card, ethernet connection and laptop power supply. By simply plugging the adapter into my laptop's USB-C port everything just connected and started working right away. I really like the added ethernet port on this adapter as my older one did not have it and I have been using a dedicated USB-C to ethernet adapter as many of my regular tasks require connecting to a wired network. After several hours of testing everything was still working flawlessly. The adapter did get a little warm, but not outrageously or dangerously so, and I was certainly pushing a lot through it! The design is much more compact and with its rounded contours it is clearly intended to be a travel accessory and it's now a staple in the laptop sleeve I usually tote my computer around in. If there is one possible issue I can see it that the ethernet port uses a hinged "jaw" design that swings open and closed when inserting and removing an cable. The obvious intent is to keep the adapter as slim as possible, but it seems like something that could become loose or even broken in time. Lis is less of a concern if one was to use it as permanently installed docking station. The short connection cord makes this a bit difficult and if I were to use it that way I would pick up an extension cable so that I could better position the adapter and all of it's connected pieces a bit further from the laptop. This is less of an issue when using this as an on-the-go device as it is intended, but I thought it might be worth mentioning.

Not enough ports. No included directions. Didn't know that one port was for charging only.

Works great! Allows me to connect a monitor to my laptop easily. Haven't had any issues!

Good, but could be improved. Some usb extension are not detected by the computer, like a printer.

This small add on does it all. Plug in usb , or download sd cards, run wireless mouse. Plus hdmi...

After about a couple weeks of use it started to have a short in the wire so depending on how i move my device that this is connected to it will disconnect which would suck if it disconnected during a file transfer
