    do not buy if you use the SD card reader often. you can shove an sd card reader in it but it feels like you're forcing it-- ie, its not one that clicks into place or anything, if that makes sense. hard to explain but the sd card part sucks. I have pulled an sd card out that has got damaged in this reader too.,.. which is weird considering how $$ it is -- i would have expected that on a $15 one on amazon, but not this one

    Very disappointing. My intent was to use it as a docking station for my Surface laptop. When I plug the USB-A dongle into the Satechi unit for my wireless keyboard and mouse, there is an unacceptable delay when typing. Again, very disappointing.

    I have never been disappointed with this brand and i am very happy with this adapter. Great quality and the build is very solid. It is on the pricier side but i do recommend spending a bit more to get better quality

    Worked great…until it didn’t. The hdmi converter port has stopped working altogether. After only a few months of use, my monitor would flicker, and the adapter stopped working. I got this more expensive one because I thought it would be more reliable for working from home, however, my cheaper $15 converter is still working. I won’t waste my money again.
