Wonderful Family Movie everyone can enjoy. The Acting and the Story is quite touching. The costumes are wonderful and it is just one of those movies that is destined to become a Classic Disney movie.

This was a great telling of a story not well known, although it could have used more Tom Hanks scenes. Older children might like this but it is not for the ealy teen years, just too boring for them.)

It was a good movie. Disney makes great movies, especially true stories. Both actors, Emma Thompson and Tom Hanks were very good in it. Nice idea to show Disneyland depicted as it was in the 1960's.

I've never read about Walt Disney so this was a little snap shot of his values and of the tormented author of Mary Poppins. It would be interesting to learn what inspired other Disney movies.

This movie is FANTASTIC!! it really show the great story of one of the greatest movies of all times. Tom Hanks really played Walt Disney really well. Highly recommended for families.

I grew up watching Mary Poppins as a kid, so I really enjoyed seeing this movie and learning more on the back-story of how it was made. Emma Thompson's performance is incredible, and Tom Hanks is great as Walt Disney. A great family movie that I would recommend to anyone!

This has become one of our favorite Tom Hanks films. This does a good job of depicting how Walt Disney was, but there are also some fictional features throughout the film.

Well, not sure it's really a Disney mania thingie but always like Disney movies so can't wait to see the genius behind the genius and how he got to where he was.

A must see. Gives a different perspective on a much watch movie. No one ever really knows what goes into making a movie. You will have a greater appreciation after seeing this movie

I was thrilled when I saw this DVD on the shelf at Best Buy, and at a reasonable price. I've shared this movie with several of my friends, all of whom enjoyed it as much I as have.

I had heard so much about this movie, and was not inclined to want to watch it. I was surprised by how much I liked it. Not usually a feel good movie guy but this one won me over.

This is a wonderful family movie. It is so refreshing, you will not have to worry about shielding little ones eyes or blocking their ears. Destined to become a modern day classic.

Great film. Very entertaining and enjoyable from beginning to end. If you loved "Mary Poppins" you'll love this behind the scenes film. Tom Hanks is marvelous as "uncle Walt". BRAVO!

This movie is awesome! My whole family liked it, from my husband and I to my 21-year-old to my 17-year-old. Buy it and watch it!

Here is a chance to really understand what goes one when making a movie. Although a bit sanitized by the Disney family it really shows the sadness of the author of Mary Poppins

This movie was very interesting and tells you the story behind Mary Poppins. Very good movie, highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Mary Poppins. Tom Hanks is a wonderful actor.

I very much enjoyed the story line of this move. The casting for parts were very well chosen, and I enjoyed being along for the unfolding of the back story to one of my favorite Disney classics!

Overall a great story with lots of Disney history. P.L. Travers conflict with Walt Disney lasted a long time and neither wanted to give in. A great back story for Mary Poppins.

This one lives up to the hype... I'd been waiting to see this one, and it really delivers! Bought it along with the anniversary edition of "Mary Poppins" for dual viewing.

I always loved Mary Poppins and I wasn't aware of the behind the scenes effort to bring it to the big screen. P.L. Travers certainly appeared to be troubled by her past and the film was very entertaining bringing this to the forefront.
