Overall a good movie. Has a very nice story but the ending falls short.

Have watched Saving Private Ryan for quite some time now, but I decided to try it on 4k. It's great, the picture looks a bit too realistic now but it seems it drops frames. Regretting this purchase, would just opt for the Blu-ray instead.

It's a beautiful steelbook but the labeling is very misleading, the blu ray disc doesn't include the film itself, only the special features so it really only comes with the 4K version

The 4K transfer on this is excellent. Unfortunately, this Best Buy Exclusive Steelbook does NOT include the Blu-ray disc or Special Features disc. ONLY the 4K disc is included. That's it. Get the regular version.

I wish I could give a ZERO for the way it was packaged. The steel-book of “Saving Private Ryan” was damaged because Best-Buy shipped it in envelope instead of a small box!! I’m even more upset because Best-Buy cancelled Elite membership. On top of that, just about everything has to be purchased online vs. having it “in-stock” at a brick and mortar.

I love this movie and couldn't wait to get it but it does not play in my X-BOX ONE X. The disk gets stuck on loading.

I was super excited for this steelbook release. Saving Private Ryan is one of my favorite movies and I was finally getting it in 4k. Very dissappointed when I opened this steelbook and realized that it was a cheap repackaged version of the old Blu-ray release. No special features disc as well as no regular Blu-ray but still charging more than the non steelbook release. Very dissappointed in Best Buy. I returned it.

I received my copy with only a special features disk inside. It is missing the 4K and Blu Ray disks. The back of the case shows it comes with two disks, 4k and Blu Ray Feature Film, with no mention of the special features disk. It did come with the digital code. I tried to upload photos, but the website doesn't like my iPhone picture for whatever reason.

BEST BUY HAS WAY TOO MANY DAMAGES TO THEIR STEELBOOKS.

Misleading description! Masterpiece of a film, but if you’re looking a blu-ray version, DO NOT PURCHASE this Steelbook. This Steelbook only contains a 4K version of the film. The Blu-ray Disc only contains special features. What a let down.

Live the steelbook but it did not come with a blu ray copy of the film, only blu ray special features. Dont own 4K tech. Bought it for steelbook and belief there was a blu ray copy of movie. Now I can't return it.

Very poor disc. So bad I think it may be defective. I’m going to try and return it.

The 4k version of this is well worth the upgrade from the blu-ray. For it being an old film, they did a real good job on enhancing the picture and sound quality of it. The Dolby Atmos sound track immerses the listener with high explosions and bullets flying everywhere (around and above you). This movie delivers outstanding use of surround and height channel. Need less to say that the story line is good as well. This movie is a must have to your collection.

Love the movie, Transfer is a bit grainy. Audio is top-notch.

Saving Private Ryan is the perfect film to showcase your 4k setup, the HDR colors are brilliant, the sound is incredible and that infamous opening D day scene has not been so visceral and hard to watch since it was projected onto cinema screens in 1998. Buy this film now.

This has been remastered perfectly. The 4k resolution and Atmos sound is amazing. The intro D-Day scene is like you are there and lets you once again realize what our brothers in arms had to go through and their sacrifice. Great version of the movie.
