This is my number one favorite movie! A movie that is so well directed and acted I feel compelled to re-watch it at least yearly. Add 4K to an already 5 star movie and what do you get? KaBoom!!!

Incredible war movie that starts off with insane audio that'll crush your chest with bass. It's a top three war film for me.

I didn't think my favorite movie of all time could get better. I was soo wrong. This Steelbook from Best Buy has all the extra features you'd ever want. The sound, video, content is just amazing.

The opening scene is profound for me because my dad was among the first troops to hit the Normandy beaches. I asked him if he wanted to see the movie. He said no. He didn't want to relive that horrible day.

Ok, so I have this on VHS tape, DVD, Blu Ray and now 4k. Am I a fan? Yes! This movie is the greatest war movie showing WWII and a must see. 4k is amazing for this movie...takes it next level for pic and sound.

This is a classic WWII story with an all star cast that has you engrossed from the first unforgettable scene. You get a sense of what it was like to be there and feel all the emotions of the characters. Some scenes are hard to watch, but necessary.

Once of the best modern WWII movies, the addition of 4K UHD resolution brings every moment into the modern home theater. An all star cast and extremely realistic action sequences, it definitely doesn't pull punches. An absolute favorite.

This 4k is one of the most frequently mentioned movies on the high fidelity sites due to how good its Atmos sound is. That's because it is. If you have upgraded your sound system check this out!

Steelbook is fashioned after an old locker, looks great! It is one of the finest, if not *the finest*, war movie ever made. It’s a film that everybody should see at least once.

Incredible film in great packaging. The 4K release is quite good, but the film really stands out when it comes to audio. Highly recommend with a surround system if you can.

Saving Private Ryan - Steelbook edition - picked this up on sale at a great price in 4K + blueray. Great movie in a new format and if you like steelbook cases this is for you.

I remember seeing it a young age in 2006 on dvd, which in fact got me hooked to cinema entirely. When I saw it was on sale in 4k, it was a insta buy for me. Best War film to date!

My favorite, my one & only, two decades later & I still watch it. It's the best movie of war film & probably one of the best of all. The cast, the directing, the hole thing. Buying it on Bluray & rewatching it its a good experience.

First this movie is already great and now that it is in HD makes the experience so much better. Also the hard cover case that's decorated as an ammo box makes gives you a great feeling. I would recommend this to anybody who is in to war, action and a great story.

Not much more needs to be said about Saving Private Ryan, a movie where the man IS the mission. A gut wrenching, brutal look at the horrors of war.. Audio and video are absolutely reference quality. Highest recommendation.

Is a wonderful piece of history!!!! A remarkable true story......in a very difficult times in human history...... but this young man...... give so much for our freedom!!!!!!

This disc is reference quality and a worthy addition to your 4K collection. I like that the original film grain is maintained and the sound mix is absolutely top notch. A great movie presented as it was intended for sure.

Saving Private Ryan is an excellent movie to test your home theatre sound system. A lot of graphic violence and not great for kids but supposedly very realistic. Tom Hanks was excellent in the role.
