This movie depicts the horrors of war while also showing the bravery and sacrifice of our soldiers. Tom Hanks is excellent in his role as Cpt. Miller. The sound and visuals are amazing.

I remember seeing this movie in the theaters 3 times and I had to add this to my blu Ray collection. The movie itself was excellent and the audio track is a must have for surround system owners.

This is an awesome movie to watch in 4K, even if a person has watched it before. The special features disc is a must see to get a true understanding of this movie, how it was made, and to understand the true story of Saving Private Ryan. This 4K movie deserves 5 stars. Watching the special features disk brings this movie to life and compliments all involved in the making of this picture. There were no problems with this 4K disc. The Steel Book is awesome as well! If a person likes true stories, this needs to be in their collection.

this by far is the best war movie of all times the amount of live action war in your face is incredibly real this is coming from a military veteran.its a masterpiece.

This is an American classic. It’s got Tommy Hanx, Matty Damon, Vincent Diesel and a bunch of other famous actors. Of course it is 5 stars.

An authentic war picture in my opinion...story and casting were done right...good transfer to 4k...sound was as good as the blu-ray

You will feel like your where on that boat during the assault using the dolby atmos surround sound speaker system! This is one of the best go-to demo discs around!

Just pick this up for the sound. Your neighbors will hate you. Thing is...this and Blade Runner are probably the best for sound.

Saving Private Ryan 4K has a beautiful picture with HDR and was very impactful. It's a great movie at a good price.

All the reviewers online call this 4k reference quality, so I had to add it to the collection. Haven't gone 4k yet but I had to have this classic war movie.

Great movie classic. I have owned all types from vhs to now 4k its incredible how time just makes this movie even better.

This was one of the paramount steelbooks released from best buy on 9/07/2014, also being the first steelbook edition released in the US (not the metalpak from Walmart months back). Very sturdy and glossy finished steelbook with disc 1 of the feature film. Would have been better if the second disc was also included with this release. As for quality, looks great! There are scenes where the image looks grainy, but the quality has definitely improved!

Excellent product. Very happy with performance. Would highly recommend to anyone out there looking for something similar.

This is one of the best war movies in recent memory, impeccable in every way including this special "Saphire" edition blu-ray with high-end video and demo sound & extras. Must own!
