As it being a 4k disc I was pleasantly surprised to see it still retained the film grain & diminished the live look most 4k discs produce

Owned this movie already on Blu ray.skip it on 4k.its very grainy.and the sound was not .that much better.than Blu ray.i think the Blu Ray looks better.more even

Greatest opening in any movie hands down and cannot be topped. Now 4k uhd with Dolby Atmos brings this to another level. Wish they made more movies like this instead constant superhero movies.

This movie captures the intensity of war and being a soldier about as near flawlessly as you could. While predictable, a bit sappy and perhaps somewhat dissapointing with how certain things are resolved, it's entertaining from start to finish, and highly rewatchable

Great product love the steelbook design, unfortunately mine came damaged once again caused by best buys horrible shipping, they dont protect the item in the shipping boxes they just throw it in the box and tape it up, to scared to order the replacement since it will most likely arrive damage. Best buy please work on your shipping, protect the item use bubble wrap or whatever and protect our items that we purchase!!!

4k picture quality is excellent but the atmos track is what really got me.. sounds come from everywhere and really makes you feel like you are watching this take place right in front of you.

Awesome movie! Still holds up to this day and with the 4k Ultra treatment, you really do experience amazing quality. The intro to the movie is very brutal and really makes you admire the cinematography!

I needed this great movie on bluray to see how it looked on bluray transfer. Was not disappointed, this movie looks and sounds great! If fan of this movie and you haven't upgraded yet from DVD to Bluray, do yourself a favor and pick this edition up next time it's on sale!

Great movie ad quality, but not on the steel book 4K edition from Best Buy, the description is a little deceiving as it only includes the 4K disc and digital copy, the description makes it seem like a blue ray come with it like the regular 4K edition

This is a must have for any 4K collector. Spielberg's masterpiece has never looked better. It's like watching the movie for the first time all over again! Sound is also amazing, and puts you in the middle of the action. You cannot pass this one up!

What a fantastic movie in 4k the picture quality was amazing and well done. Sound well.... it was even more amazing then the picture. I definitely recommend adding this 4k to your collection.

Went in the store looking for the Blu-Ray but we're told we could only purchase it through the site so we were forced to buy this one or wait.

One of the best war movies ever made. So well made and such a good story with a lot of great characters to keep you interested.

This is my number one favorite movie! A movie that is so well directed and acted I feel compelled to re-watch it at least yearly. Add 4K to an already 5 star movie and what do you get? KaBoom!!!

A war film that stands the test of time and is improved with 4k. A great movie/transfer onto 4k. Steelbook looks great and was in mint condition when delivered to me.

I didn't think my favorite movie of all time could get better. I was soo wrong. This Steelbook from Best Buy has all the extra features you'd ever want. The sound, video, content is just amazing.

The opening scene is profound for me because my dad was among the first troops to hit the Normandy beaches. I asked him if he wanted to see the movie. He said no. He didn't want to relive that horrible day.

I've seen this movie before, but never on bluray. The sound was great and so was the picture. Good buy for any collection, especially if you are a Tom Hanks fan.

This is a classic WWII story with an all star cast that has you engrossed from the first unforgettable scene. You get a sense of what it was like to be there and feel all the emotions of the characters. Some scenes are hard to watch, but necessary.
