this movie is by far one of the best war movies ever made. show very detailed point of view of what the soldiers went through during the worst war this planet has seen.

A classic movie in 4k on sale, you cant go wrong there

I remember buying this movie when it first was released and hearing it on home theater system with vcr, the sound was so realistic. The scene Omaha beach with sounds of the ocean waves to hearing bullets and bombs was awesome. Also great cast, Tom Hanks, Tom Sizemore and Matt Damon, Vin Diesel. The last two mention who are mega stars today. Upgraded home theater system for todays movie & audio sounds, can`t wait to watch this movie again.

The 4k presentation is an awesome experience on a home theater . Even if you dont have a high powered theater system or just a sound bar , the audio track rocks and the video goes without saying. So in short just have a 4k tv and player , soundbar or full scale sytem and buckle up.

A classic for a reason. It's a movie that truly deserves all the hype it receives. A good, mostly realistic glimpse into the horrors of WW2. While the events that take place are definitely fictional, the feel and atmosphere are intense.

This movie was unwatchable in bluray. I hated it. In 4k and dolby vision is wonderful. It looks 3D at times. Dolby Atmos is superior to the original bluray

The beach scene!! There is nothing else I can tell you. The only edition better is the 4k version. If you can't purchase that, this one will be perfect.

This technology hobby is costing me a lot of money to keep re-buying movies I already had but needed to get them in the latest format (VHS, LaserDisc, DVD, HD-DVD, BLU-Ray DVD, Ultra 4K DVD, streaming services like Hulu, Amazon Prime, Netflix, AppleTV).

Every American should see this film. Every aspect of this movie is done well -acting, directing, scenery, storyline, etc. This is a must see for everyone.

Came bundled with DVD player. This is a great title to show off your new 4K tv and DVD player. Surround sound in the beach landing scene is amazing.

One of the most important and amazing films of all time now in the highest standard of video and audio. Sounds so good coming out of my surround sound that when people come over I feel obligated to demonstrate it for them.

I had heard so much about this movie but had never seen it. I bought it because Tom Hanks 'never' makes a bad picture. What an incredible story. The battle scenes are realistic and very graphic. The 4k-Ultra HDR throws you right into the scenes. The Dolby Atmos sound send bullets and shrapnel whizzing past your ears. This is a must have movie in anyone's home collection.

My son and I are WWII buffs. After visiting Germany, France, St Lo, Normandy Nancy earlier this year so I thought what a great way to re-live that experience.... Not disappointed at all... Watching in 4K as compared to HD is a world apart. The depth and and color are incredible. Almost like being there live. If you have a 4k UHD and like WW II, this is a no brainer.
