One of the best war movies ever made. It is crazy real. Great sound and acting. Love it.

Bought two of these, one for my own use and pleasure and another to collect and preserve. While Schindler’s List is undoubtedly Spielberg’s magnum opus, this is a close second! Beautiful film and story, well shot and edited, and of course, the sets! Heavens! That said, the steelbook premium is well worth a re-buy for anyone who already owns a hard copy or even a digital one!

This is one of the greatest WWII movies ever made. Great acting, realistic action, excellent pacing. One of Steven Spielberg's signature achievments.

Steven Spielberg's great World War 2 masterpiece is a film everyone needs to see. But be prepare for the films first 30 minutes, because the epic war battle on the beach may def offend or horrify some viewers. But Spielberg shows truly, war is ugly (and bloody, and horrific as well) If the film has any flaws a few of the supporting characters feel a bit like stereotypes from other war films, but they small aside, I still find this film brilliant and disturbing. How it did not win Best Picture, still amazes me.

A fantastic movie! Complete award winning, drama filled, action packed movie! Great history reminder of what can, and what has happened in the past.

We were very excited to get one of our classic favorites on BluRay. My recommend would have been a 5 if the movie was as advertised to include a letterbox version of the movie, it wasn't but the greater quality image made up for it. My son didn't mind as it filled up the whole screen of our new 75" Sony from Best Buy

This film places you right in the middle of the action. It shows how hellish war really is. There are no attempts to hide reality from the viewer.
