While Saw itself is a good film, and offers unique twists and the chance to get yourself out of any predicament if you're willing to go the distance, I cannot recommend the Blu-Ray release. I purchased hoping the interactive menus and extras would be more than printed on the back of the box, but sadly, there really is nothing but the film on this disc. Theatrical trailers, a staple of bonus content for DVD and Blu-Ray special features, don't even make it in. All in all, this feels like a very rushed product, as if Lionsgate just wanted to cash in on the Saw craze before Halloween without putting anything but the film itself on the disc. What makes this most upsetting is that the regular release of Saw on DVD has a plethora of bonus features that didn't make it over to the Blu-Ray. I DO NOT recommend this Blu-Ray

When this movie came out, there wasn't really anything like it. A great movie.

This is a great horror movie with lots of twists and jaw dropping scenes. Jigsaw is a mastermind of not killing anyone himself, yet racking up a nice body count. Enjoy this one!!!

I think the movie was good. It had a story line which for me is good cause you can follow through whats going on. Not enough blood i thought it could have been more.

good movie and makes you think. its a very twisted movie and you definatly need to pay attention to details. must also get saw 2 and saw 3.

This was just another torture film that helped launch the genre into popularity. It has no real suspense, and an only mildly intriguing storyline. The plot is better than those other movies like it, but it is still the type of film that is peeling away any chance the horror genre will have at respect and true greatness.

The movie that would set up for years of bad movies every halloween. The movie sucked from the start. Everything was boring being stuck in one room the entirity of a movie.
