Holiday sale with the steelbook cover included for free was a good deal

Wasn’t able to get this through store pick up. So anyone wanting the steelbook, double check that you could still get this with free shipping.

Mine arrived damaged and was quite the hassle to get a replacement. Ultimately, it worked out and the non-broken version looks great on the shelf.

I love steelbooks and this one doesn't disappoint. It has two spots for discs which is good since FF7 comes with 2 discs. Well made and beautiful.

I've always loved this game since I was 12. I think they are doing well with the story to give old fans who have probably played the OG or spinoffs something new as well as giving us some classic moments. Definitely recommend! The steelbook artwork is gorgeous!

I’m just echoing what everyone else is saying but want to thank Best Buy for listening to their customers on most steelbook shipments. Mine was also put in a box with bubble wrap. Hopefully this trend continues where it eventually becomes mandatory.

When I tell you I completed everything in this game from the story, protorelics and all the side quests. I couldn’t put this game down. I really loved the gameplay mechanics to the voice acting. I highly recommend this to the moon and back.

I was worried at first because I didn't get it with my game on release day. Bestbuy however, let me know it was on its way and even had tracking info for it. Arrived when it stated and it was well worth the wait!

It certainly is a steelbook. Was free so value is five stars. Ease of use... uh, it opens. So five stars. Quality? Very subjective so I'll say five stars, why not. Would definitely recommend this preorder bonus.

The case was beautiful and the best preorder bonus offered. Unfortunately when I pick up my copy of the game, I noticed my steelbook had a huge scratch on the back of the case. Luckily the front is okay but still very disappointing to receive a scratched steelbook.

The steel book features high quality alternative artwork of the games box art. If you are a fan of Final Fantasy VII and do not want to spend extra on collectors edition, this is a good alternative

Same as those who got a botched one. It's not that it's botched (that can happen) or it's no longer available (also can happen). But I was told (including by upper management) that it was a freebie so they won't do anything about it. Of course it wasn't a freebie, it was an incentive for you to send Best Buy money and commit to buying the game from them before it's released. Most companies, when they can't offer a return of sorts will offer some sort of restitution. Not Best Buy. Of course they are going the way of Circuit City so I am not completely shocked...just a little annoyed...and I don't blame the employees (they were all super legit), it's a company culture issue I'm guessing.

Everything I expect the sequel to be all of the mini games will drive some people mad the game has amazing potentials that open world game anyone fan of the first game will really love this one
