First, I would like to state the obvious: Schindler's List is a cinematic achievement, perhaps Spielberg's best film to date. The Blu-ray transfer by Spielberg himself is seamless, and the colors all stand out in clear Hi-Def. The bonus features included are well worth your time, with testimonies from "Schindler's Jews", and it's interwoven with actual footage, making it perhaps more powerful than the film. Also included is a wonderful 25th reunion of Spielberg and the main cast, as they talk about the making of the film. One of the most important films ever made, but only for mature audiences, and certainly will not be for everyone.

I had never seen the movie before, and saw a preview recently and decided to watch. It is really a must see for those that can handle its graphic nature. I can understand why it is considered one of the best.

One of the best movies of all time. Terrific enlightening bonus special features make this a gem of any collection. Just make sure "Newman" isn't sitting behind you when you're watching it.....

Great upgrade from bluray for this classic. Was surprised at the improvement despite being mostly in black and white. No problems redeeming the digital copy.

Such a great movie and looks even better on 4K. Love how the black and white image looks sharp and full of detail. Definitely recommended.

Surprisingly, I didn't have this movie in my library. For a very long time, the DVD carried a very high price tag, so I hadn't bit the bullet to purchase. I'm glad I waited and got this on sale. I think it was such a brilliant (but long) movie. For those that haven't seen it, a quick read on many movie reviews, will give you an idea. As mentioned, it's quite long, so be prepared to sit down and pay attention, prior to watching. It is definitely a movie that is very serious, so if not in the mood for that, hold off watching until you decide. Must purchase for sale price. Blu ray version isn't necessarily needed, but if on sale, why not?

Classic movie brought to life in a modern way with 4k quality picture and amazing sound

This movie is over 3 hours long. It makes you wonder how anyone could deny that the holocaust happened.
