As a former spin instructor who has taught over 500 classes, and someone who formerly thought Schwinn was the best in the business I can tell you this bike has ruined their reputation in my mind. Schwinn ought to be ashamed of themselves. I bought this during the pandemic in 2020 and even though it was better than nothing, it is not much better than nothing. It is cheaply made, the screws rusted in a month, there were squeaks out of the box, the pedals are loose and most importantly the range of resistance is really small (turning the nob goes from none to too much in a very small range). Brass tacks, it's also hard to get a sweat going on this if you're someone in shape - it's the elliptical of spin bikes if you know what that means you'll run away. The "tech" element, first of all, didn't work out of the box, but even working correctly is nothing more than a cheap sensor wired in and Bluetooth and provides almost no value. Even the display needed replacement. Yes, it was half the price of a Peloton at the time, but even so, I highly question the accuracy of it. If that doesn't matter to you, fine. To top it off, Schwinn/Bowflex/Nautilous' customer service was aggressively unpleasant. It's no surprise that this bike has dropped at least $500 in price since 2020.

It's a nice bike itself but the console didn't register changes in resistance. Have to go through a whole process with Nautilus now. Disappointed an expensive, new piece of equipment didn't work.

This hurts to write. I bought my bike through Schwinn and at first, this bike was an absolute dream. It arrived in September and since has broken down twice and between the two breakdowns (we are in the middle of the second one) has been out of commission for a month and a half despite us being in contact with customer service. For a new bike, this is insane. This is a great bike when it works, but we are far from the only ones that have experienced breakdowns. Also, for reference, our bike is being used by only two people 3 to 4 times a week for a half-hour to an hour at a time. We do steady-state cardio, not even hiit. So this bike has been LIGHTLY used at best. I encourage you to read more reviews of those who have owned the bike for more than 4 months before buying. Maybe we have a lemon, but i really don't think so. It's just cheaply made internally.

I like it. Works well. Was able to put it together and am liking it so far

I have been teaching indoor cycle for close to twenty years, and have ridden on almost as many indoor bikes. The IC4 is a decent bike, nothing special about it, with a fair price. However, should your IC4 need service or warranty repair, you will be faced with a total lack of support from nautilus, parent company of Schwinn. I have been there.

You’re better off ordering directly from supplier. They continuously push out your delivery date. I’ve been waiting for months and not worth it
