I had to turn the radio volume to maximum just to hear it. But at anything more than 50% volume, the unit would produce an annoying high-pitched hum that made it difficult to listen to in the long term.

The following product is backed by Scosche’s Limited Warranty and Scosche's Lifetime Tech Support. First, you'll want to ensure that you're tuning your car radio to a "dead", unused frequency. Find a station that does not have an active broadcast and is preferably static covered and match the frequency on the transmitter to this radio station. Your Bluetooth FM
transmitter has a volume adjustment. If you still have the remote that was included with
your transmitter, once you've paired and connected your phone to the Bluetooth FM
transmitter, you can press and hold the volume + on the remote to raise the volume. You
can also press and hold the track forward button on the face of the transmitter. This will
ensure the volume on the transmitter is raised all the way up. The loudest volume setting
on the transmitter is 8, and you should see 8 on the display of the transmitter. It was very reasonably priced so I can’t complain much. It does have a good bit of static noise that does lessen the quality of the sound transmitted. I use it in an older model pickup truck that is a bit noisy so I don’t get great sound quality anyway. For the price, it is just OK. If it were more expensive I’d have to say it’s not a good deal. If you are shopping for a similar item, look for a better product than this one.

Listen to your MP3s, Pandora or anything on your phone through your car stereo speakers. Also takes phone calls and has USB charging port. Super easy to program.

This little device for 25 bucks integrated my iPhone perfectly. The other options were over $500 and would give me Apple Car Play but that’s not worth it. Good build quality and an easy wireless connection.
