Great device poor pairing
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The reason I give this a 1 star because it is hard at times to stay connected between the Bluetooth device and Your phone. Some days it pairs and sometimes it’s impossible to pair. However, once connected, it has the best quality sound unlike other devices.

Screeching Sound Issue
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It worked okay when my car was in park, but when I drove it had a high pitch screeching sound. It got louder whenever I put my foot on the gas pedal. I could only put up with it for so long before I had to buy a different one that works better.

Didn’t like
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this because it didn’t need to be charged additionally to being plugged in. Didn’t like all of the back feed and interference that it gave off because it goes through a radio station instead of normal aux Bluetooth.

Check for clear FM stations in your area
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Low stars because hardly no clear FM signals in my area and this created noisy (white noise) reception. Overall it worked as it should and was easy to use

Crappy sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pairing was easy but had to turn the volume on both my phone and car up to the highest point, and still could barely hear the music. On top of that, because you are at the highest point the static was awful. Sounded like you went from a Bose stereo to an 80s alarm clock!!

Horrible!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Somehow this item was rated high but I really dont know why! The moment I started using it, it started to give static when I was playing it from my phone. I thought it was just the area that i was driving, but the static never went away. I had purchased another bt transmitter prior to this one and i wanted to see what this one could do. Well short story, returned this one and kept my old one. Horrible product.

Miserable experience
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I could barely hear my music, had to put it up to nearly max, only for the static to overpower my music the entire time. Would've actually been better to just my phone speakers.

Posted .We are sorry to hear about the disappointing experience you had with your Scosche Bluetooth FM transmitter. First you'll want to ensure that you're tuning your car radio to a "dead", unused frequency. Find a station that does not have an active broadcast and is preferably static covered, and match the frequency on the transmitter to this radio station. The BTFM4 has a volume adjustment. Once you've paired and connected your phone to the Bluetooth FM transmitter you can turn and hold the Multifunction knob/button on the face of the transmitter to the right. This will ensure the transmitter's volume is turned up all the way. The loudest volume setting on the transmitter is 30 and you should see "V30" on the display of the transmitter. If you have any additional questions or need additional support please email our Customer Service Team at customerservice@scosche.com with a link to this review, message us via our chat service or give us a call at 800 363 4490 x1, and we will arrange a swift resolution to your experience.

Posted .We are sorry to hear about the disappointing experience you had with your Scosche Bluetooth FM transmitter. The issue you are describing is not a typical user experience. There is a way to adjust or turn up the volume on the transmitter which is a separate volume control from your Bluetooth streaming device (mobile phone). Perhaps we can offer some troubleshooting assistance or provide you with a warranty replacement, if necessary. The following product is backed by Scosche’s 3 Year Limited Warranty and Scosche's Lifetime Tech Support. Please email our Customer Service Team at customerservice@scosche.com with a link to this review, message us via our chat service or give us a call at 800 363 4490 x1, and we will arrange a swift resolution to your experience.
