Before I purchased this I read some of the reviews. They were split, but with more with 4-5 starts. The ones that had lower 1-3 all complained about connecting to channels, changing the channel, the volume. I'm not quite sure of their problem, but it is so easy to connect, if you read the instructions. I did have to change it from 88.9 to 88.3 because of the other had some distant channel trying to play. But that was only seconds to change. Once it was set up, it auto connects when i get in the car. The volume is controlled by my phone which i put on max, but then the car controlled it well. The volume could be turned up louder than i would want to listen to it. Receiving calls interrupted the podcast i was listening to and when finished it went back to podcast. This was used on a 2005 Ford Escape and it actually is easier to connect to my 2014 F-150l with Sync. I highly recommend it for price, quality and ease.

I purchased this for a 2004 Jeep Wrangler that has no integrated bluetooth, USB, or 3.5mm audio input. The Sosche - BTFREQ was $29.99 when I bought it. Positives: - It works - 2 USB charging ports - Easy to change stations - Snug fit even in an old, worn-out socket like my Jeep has Negatives: - DO NOT auto-connect to iPhone once it turns off and on again, so you have to manually connect every time you get in the car - Doesn't get very loud - Can hear static when no music is playing - Feels cheap with low quality plastic and knob - USB ports DO NOT support iPhone 16 Pro fast charging (I should have checked before purchasing, the 19 Pro needs 30W) Overall: I returned this device and decided to go with a better solution. If you are on a very strict budget, you could do a lot worse than the Scosche BTFREQ transmitter. Compared to my old no-name transmitter (bought in 2010 for $20), it's better but not the quality difference I was hoping for given the 14 year time gap. In the end, considering how cheap aftermarket radios with bluetooth are these days, I'll probably do that for around $100 instead.

We bought this because our older car didn't have BT connectivity. It works like it is supposed to and actually has good sound quality considering it is going over FM. The functionality of skipping to next song and plugging USB cables in is a nice benefit. It's also cheaper than other options.

Son bought it for his car, no static, easy use, can hear him clearly when he calls. Works well with Siri for us. Impressed over all. Fits in the old port holder, not in the way and syncs with the automatically.

I've probably have had 8 to 10 different FM transmitters over the years and this one takes the cake. From functionality to sound quality, rather listening to music or phone calls, it's the best by FAR.

Super easy to set up and quality is crisp. At times I do have to switch the frequency due to interferanceand it has an aux cable connection which eliminates the issue and still allows for a bluetooth connection. Great product

This handy inexpensive little device works great and turns any old car with a FM radio into a Hands-Free Bluetooth device. You can quickly dial the last number dialed by just pushing the play button twice, or use your phone’s built in voice commands to make calls. You can play your media library off your phone and use the player’s functions to skip forward or backward, pause and play. Or if you have only an old device with a stereo out connection, that will also be played over the car stereo! And of course, you can charge your USB device! A and C at the same time!

Worked ok. It caused static when listening to other radio stations. The volume had to be turned way up for calls and down for music. Ended up going with a radio swap to Andriod Auto.

Works great if you can find an open FM frequency to use it on . Sound quality is good not great, but in my old truck with the stock radio it works fine and a lot cheaper than $700 for a new radio.

phenomenal piece if you have a car that doesn't have Bluetooth or a USB socket. it charged the phone while I was playing music through it and it can send it Bluetooth but my vehicle didn't have Bluetooth this piece also has an auxiliary output in my vehicle did have an auxiliary input so it worked perfectly and you can twist the dial to Ford and reverse the songs. absolutely great piece for what it does.

Very impressed with the sound quality and ease of use of this device. I am using this in a 1995 vehicle with original stereo, and listening to music sounds great! Device also has convenient USB charging ports, as well as a readout for vehicle voltage. Highly recommended!

It does what it states, but you definitely lose some audio quality, obviously. However, it is the easiest way to add bluetooth capability to an older vehicle. Its a quick, plug and play item that works as specified. I would recommend this item, as long as you're not an audiophile.

This Bluetooth FM transmitter works perfectly for its intended purpose. The FM signal is free of static, the tuning operation is simple, and the USB ports are convenient to power my phone. The embedded microphone is a little tinny, but it is much better than my last FM transmitter which wouldn't even allow Siri to understand me much less someone on the other end of a phone call. The only downside is it doesn't reconnect automatically when I turn on the car. I have to connect manually in my phone settings. Other than that, it's perfect!
