I’ve tried so many stations but no matter what there is a noticeable static in the audio. The price isn’t bad and if you don’t mind a mild background noise it’s worth it

Posted .We are sorry to hear about the disappointing experience you had with your Scosche Bluetooth FM transmitter. First you'll want to ensure that you're tuning your car radio to a "dead", unused frequency. Find a station that does not have an active broadcast and is preferably static covered, and match the frequency on the transmitter to this radio station. Your transmitter has a volume adjustment. Once you've paired and connected your phone to the Bluetooth FM transmitter you can turn and hold the Multifunction knob/dial on the face of the transmitter to the right (clockwise). This will ensure the transmitter's volume is turned up all the way. The loudest volume setting on the transmitter is 30 and you should see "V30" on the display of the transmitter. The Bluetooth reception almost always has static, no matter which empty FM station I tune to. It also does not power off when my car turns off—I have to unplug it manually every time. Worse, if I forget to unplug it, it interferes with my key fob and prevents me from locking or unlocking my car. Because of these issues, I’m returning it.
