This made a lot of buzzy, feedbacky noise. Returned it. Exchanged it for a cheaper dongle that has a too short, too thin cord that gets in the way of my gear shift but works. Then, my refund never went through.

First you'll want to ensure that you're tuning your car radio to a "dead", unused frequency. Find a station that does not have an active broadcast and is preferably static covered, and match the frequency on the transmitter to this radio station. Your transmitter has a volume adjustment. Once you've paired and connected your phone to the Bluetooth FM transmitter and while streaming music from your mobile device, can turn and hold the Multifunction knob/dial on the face of the transmitter to the right (clockwise). This will ensure the transmitter's volume is turned up all the way. The loudest volume setting on the transmitter is 30 and you should see "V30" on the display of the transmitter.
