Posted .We are sorry to hear about the disappointing experience you had with your Scosche Bluetooth FM transmitter. First you'll want to ensure that you're tuning your car radio to a "dead", unused frequency. Find a station that does not have an active broadcast and is preferably static covered, and match the frequency on the transmitter to this radio station. Your transmitter has a volume adjustment. Once you've paired and connected your phone to the Bluetooth FM transmitter you can turn and hold the Multifunction knob/dial on the face of the transmitter to the right (clockwise). This will ensure the transmitter's volume is turned up all the way. The loudest volume setting on the transmitter is 30 and you should see "V30" on the display of the transmitter. I set my car radio to 88.9 but it didnt immediately connect with my phone. Once i got it connected it worked great for awhile but now it's back to not allowing my phone to connect . I'm working through this issue. When it works, it's great

I tried shutting my car off and back on, plugging the transmitter into a different port, restarting my phone, no dice. Somehow calls work though, and I’m out of ideas. What can I do?

It tells me my device is connected and that all the volumes are set as high as they can go. I unplug and replug in and I can faintly hear it connect with my radio at full blast volume but when I hit play it says musics playing but there’s nothing that comes out no music no nothing it was working decent because there is an obscene amount of static no matter what and of it’s cloudy out you’ll hear more static then the actual music but it was playing then I stopped for gas and turned the vehicle back on reconnected and now the music says it’s playing but still nothing it’s very frustrating device and I see it’s on sale for a lot less than I paid for it so to me with it dying this quick no wonder why it’s on sale it doesn’t last and isn’t made to last at all. I drive 45 minutes to work and back every day and I value being able to listen to music this is not worth it in the long run if needing something long term. Otherwise your basically buying an over glorified charger for your vehicle

And yes… it is tuned to a completely open frequency. Also why is it so big and clunky? Some vehicles don’t have that much real estate to accommodate this thing sticking out like a big hook. I don’t understand the purpose of the side handle (or whatever it is). Definitely going back to Best Buy.

Sound is too low
