    Great Mount

I will first say that there are a few different mounting options that comes with this kit, so don't think that you have to use everything inside. I didn't even use the large bracket as I just put a magnet on my dash and then used the thin magnet that goes on the back of my phone. Instead of putting it on my phone, I put it on my case which did not add any thickness or anything. It actually looks like its supposed to be on there. Holds on the dash great and I could not be more pleased.

My phone bounced around quite a bit on this thing, and I took it off after a while for fear of it falling down by my feet while I was driving. I returned it.

Pretty cool, charges your phone. The cords are difficult to run so that they’re not in the way, and the magnet doesn’t work through your phone case.

I really like the Scosche phone mount products. The magnets are very strong and the plates for the phones are pretty low profile. The coolest thing about this mount is the ability to use the wireless charging while having your phone mounted. Just be careful to mount the plates correctly for the most secure hold. I would recommend putting the plates on the outside of your phone case (if you have one), the magnets felt a little weak when the plates were placed inside of the phone case.

Too Small for iPhone Pro Max

I purchased an iPhone mount for my car and I wanted to apply the mounts on the phone case instead of directly on the iPhone. Because once the metal plates are applied, they can't be removed. However, I discovered that the template is really for smaller iPhones, which were too small for my iPhone. Fortunately for me, I was lucky that I was able to mount the iPhone to the mount in my car. Just be sure not to place the metal plates too far away if you have a larger iPhone.

I had high hopes for the Scosche Magic Mount Charge. I’ve been waiting a long time for it to come out. I’ve tried a combination of their case magnets and the phone magnet that it comes to put directly on the phone. It would charge my phone SOMETIMES. But most of the time it would just hold it where it was on battery level. I would drive around for hours and it wouldn’t gain 1%. I would reposition it, I have the metal plates where they are supposed to be. I’ve yet to find a legit magnetic car qi charger that actually works properly. For $60 I had high hopes, especially with how well this brand makes other things. It’s junk as far as I’m concerned, at least for the iPhone X

It’s difficult to find any dash on later model vehicles with a smooth spot large enough for the suction cup. I placed the magnets on just as it described and it still is extremely difficult to make the charging connection, you have to place your phone just perfectly to charge.

This Dash mount is exactly what I needed. However, I do wish it had an extension arm, as my dash is pretty far way and using Google Maps or other mapping software can be sometimes difficult. Nevertheless, it stays mounted, holds the phone, and it works great with my Galaxy Note 10+

I have a slim Otter Box phone cover for my iPhone X and the magnetic strips don’t work well with this case. The alignment is off because of Otter Box’s logo hole in the back of the case. The charging aspect of this device freaked my phone out. Not happy with this product.

The suction cup should have been my RED FLAG

This works ... okay ... for charging an iPhone. I have my phone in an Otter Box case and it still charges okay, as long as you align the case with the charging field correctly. The charging pad falls off too easily, slipping on with only a very poorly designed key slot mount, and the suction cup is, well ... it contains the word "SUCK" so there you go. It releases suction, often at a very inopportune time, while you are relying on the GPS to guide you through hectic traffic. Suddenly the phon drops to the floor without warning! Also, this particular charger must use a corded USB plug to the phone in order for the apps to work with my 2018 F150 pickup. So knowing all of this now, I probably would not have purchased this in the first place. PLEASE banish suction cup mounts from the planet! They SUCK!!!

It will not work with the new phone chargers. It doesn’t say anything about this on the packaging or I wouldn’t have purchased it. Otherwise I think if it worked like it is supposed to , it would be awesome .
