Our mount is a MagSafe compatible mount, so if you use a protective case with your phone you need to ensure your case is also MagSafe compatible. If your phone's protective case is not MagSafe compatible you'll need to use the provided MagicPlate and place it on the outside of your protective case. It barly holds a small bumb would knock it off. Yes it has extra support to hold, but i just bough a really nice graphic case with mag safe and i didnt want to ruin the graphics with an ugly piece of metal on case. Just bought an amazon holder and holds much better

Not working for iPhone 14

Even tried sideways, but it results in a less than ideal magnetic connection, the phone could fall when hitting a bump on the road. Other than that, it seems like a solid product, the phone was charging fine.
