Poor Adhesive

The MagicMount uses a pressure sensitive 3M automotive grade adhesive which can adhere to most surfaces, including textured surfaces. Preparation of the surface area and the Scosche product is vital for successful installation. Use the included cleansing wipe to clean the area of the dashboard where you wish to secure the MagicMount. Ensure the cleaned area is dry, then firmly hold down the base of the mount onto the desired dashboard location for 1-2 minutes.
For best bonding performance, allow 24–48 hours before attaching your mobile device to the MagicMount. It is recommended to find the flattest, smoothest area in your car that would best suit your needs. Sharp edges and vertical mounting positions may not be optimal mounting locations for the MagicMount. It it would charge for a bit and then stop then charge then stop and then just stop how to take it off and take the phone off and then put it back on just a to start charging again

Worst purchase I’ve ever made at Best Buy. Literally the worst purchase. Charging cable doesn’t unplug, magnet wasn’t strong enough to hold, which was only reason I bought. Put it all back into the box and returned it.

Still needed another charge cord for CarPlay

So it was adding an additional cord I didn’t even need and I would prefer it would allow you to plug into USBC regardless instead of the cigarette lighter port. I need up returning and just getting a regular mag safe vent mouth with no integrated charging.

However, the magnet isn’t strong. I used the NATO Smart Mount before buying the MagicMount ProCharge, and the NATO would hold my phone securely with an Otterbox case. This MagicMount won’t hold my phone unless the naked magnet is touching the mount directly. If you don’t mind taking off your case every time you want to use this, then I’d say it’s a helpful tool. But if you want to avoid having to do that, try a different product.
