I decided to tighten it a little more and that’s when the thread stripped. I have one more of these that hasn’t been put into service. I will be returning it for a refund.

Amazing charger

It also has a metal plate that comes with it that would allow to connection with phones that would not have the magnet ring. I am very happy with this purchase.

It does not fit the outlet very good. Don't bother with this if you prefer to use your own charger or you built in usb outlets.

In and hour and a half of charging my phone went from 19% to 30%. I have other chargers that charge in my car significantly faster. Length of dash mount is super awkward and the magnet is super weak. Returning tomorrow
