Holds IPhone 8 Plus but barely
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had higher hopes for this mount but it will barely hold an IPhone 8 Plus. Using the large magnet, supposedly for tablets, under an otterbox defender case the mount will hold the phone. Any jostle or movement, driving, will cause it to fall. Give it a shot, it may just be the case in the way but it is described to hold more than a phone in weight... Depends on your use but for this application it's not the best.

Magnet works well

I tried everything from wetting the suction cup to applying command strips and I still can't get it to STAY stuck to the window or dash. Thankfully I have a magnetic one that slides into the air vent the magnets work well with it.

One tiny flaw, but still works great!
