I am so glad that Scream is now on blu-ray. I wasn't expecting the quality to be good on this format, but I was pleasantly surprised. The audio quality, full HD, is so awesome. You can pick up on the smallest sounds that you could'nt have noticed on the dvd. The picture quality is superb as well. You can see pores in people's faces. However, I didn't like the special features. The special features are the same as the dvd...and not in high definition. The movie overall is the best $15 you can buy. Just buy it for the awesome audio and visual appearance. Pick up Scream 2 as well.

The original and best, this movie was so original during it's time! I mean, who kills Drew Barrymore in the first few minutes???? I love the beautiful steelbook packaging.

The acting in this movie (along with everything else in this movie ) is percise to the capital P becase basically eveyting is configured in such a good way that it is almost impossible to change it to make it look any better. The acing is great,the storyline is great, and the dialouge will be rmembered forever (ex. "What's your favorite scary movie" or"Hello, Cindy").The one and only default is that it is very predictible, once you see a character, you can pretty much tell if he/ or she is going to die. If you love scary movies and have never seen this please do me a favor and go buy it now!

Needless to say, Scream is easily one of most influential horror films of the last few decades. It is one of the most definitive 90's horror films, and almost singlehandedly reinvented the slasher genre (for better or worse). Though the sequels were more or less retreads of the original (though I was pleasantly surprised by Scream 4) the first film does hold up as a breath of fresh air for the horror genre.

this scary movie was the beginning for scary movies, the chance they made from just a bloody mess to the spooky creepy ones we get now. Wonderful movie with lots of twist.

This movie is great on all different angles, maybe because it made me jump and I haven't done that since I was 11. The mystery of the killer was just pure greatness, you didn't know who the killer was.

A solid transfer for a classic horror movie. A ton of fun to see this classic newly restored in 4k.

This was a great fun movie with a good twist in it. This version of the dvd is very good with a good amount of extras. Buy this movie and ignore the rest of the series!!
