The controller is top notch when it comes to feel, and the clicky buttons are glorious along with copius amount of back buttons. But guess what? Only half your games will work because SCUF/Corsair broke xinput. Forza Horizon 4 and 5 are both completely broken. This is unacceptable for a premium controller. There is also zero communication from the company on the issue except for some cryptic KB article written in broken english. I am distraught because my only other option is a dualsense edge and i dont want it.

Controller itself is great, feels good in hand. Buttons and sticks feel great. The software is rough, every time before loading a game up you have to check to make sure the icue program hasn’t crashed. If it has (which is pretty common) the triggers and paddles wont work.

Really good controller but controller became unresponsive and did not want to turn on in any mode tried resetting with the button underneath front plate and uninstalling iCue software but did nothing. This has potential to be the best PS layout pc controller but Scuf just needs to tweak the little issues because this controller is very customizable to fit your needs.

Outright, if you only play from home and don't mind having iCue downloaded on your computer, pull the trigger and buy this controller! 4 paddles, 2 side buttons, on/off smart triggers, all the faceplate buttons are mouse click too (d-pad/abxy), 5 programmable g-key macros, and almost everything is adjustable in icue from the deadzones to the trigger pull. The only problem is that you NEEEED iCue installed for this controller to work at all. I was under the impression that you could update the controller, set the paddles and buttons, then plug and play wherever there is a PC. This is not the case. It is not a native xinput controller (Xbox), so it will not work without iCue, which makes a xinput regardless once the software is installed??? Since I play at different setups frequently and having this software downloaded on every single PC is nonrealistic, this is a dealbreaker for me and I will be returning it. Please scuf why couldn't you just make it xinput from the get-go rather than making it proprietary, forcing this software down our throats :,(

      Hello Jordan,

the iCue-need and PC only is advertised in the pictures posted, you'd of course need it for any PC you're using it on to get the most out of it, remember most people would indeed only have 1 PC and use it on that one as intended.

The controller feels great initially, but the quality doesn’t last. After about a year, I started experiencing stick drift and trigger input issues—the triggers would randomly shoot in FPS games due to high dead zone. The trigger mechanism, which uses a sliding lever instead of traditional mouse-click buttons, doesn’t hold up well over time. It’s a decent controller for the price at first, but if you’re looking for something that will last beyond a year, this isn't it.

the controller is great. Its very responsive has great triggers, but the software to use it icue is terrible. It has to be open in order for the mappings and paddles to work and once i got the controller everything was working great. It occurred to me to update the controller and that’s when the back paddles didn’t work anymore. I couldn’t get them to work again so i just retuned the controller. Very disappointing

I have only played with Xbox style controllers in the past, but his is an awesome controller. Buttons are more responsive than others, pretty much as soon as you press they register. Weight is just right, extra joysticks of different which are easy to change. Note that this controller is just a bit wider than an Xbox controller(not sure about PS controllers) and your hands are at a slightly different angle when holding during gameplay. The iCUE software to customize has a slight learning curve, not overly complicated. There are other controllers with a quicker setup time.

SCUF Envision Pro Review - Better than alternative

As a long-time SCUF controller user, this latest addition is a nice addition, but fails in some key areas. One major crux is the iCUE software that is needed to make the controller stand out. Even on a high-end PC build, the software crashes from time to time, and the only way you'll notice is that the controller's binds start to act weird, eventually leading to the RGB at the bottom resetting to factory defaults. The side buttons don't serve my hands very well as they are frequently accidentally squeezed, but blanks are provided to block them if needed. The pricepoint is interesting, the big "selling" point of the controller is the lack of first-party licensing required by Sony/Microsoft, which in turn leads to a decreased price for the consumer. Those savings are realized when compared to similarly spec'd controllers on the market, but the software issues are a large hindrance at this point. I would still recommend the product if interested in the long term potential of this PC-only controller, but beware that - just like so many other products/games on the market today - this one does not come fully baked from the oven. I'm hopeful the software improves over time and the controller's firmware updates solve any other issues that pop up.

Im rating it 4 stars even though i ultiamtely did not keep it. It functioned as advertised and the software, while it was iCue, was easy enough to use and set profiles. I knocked a star off because i found the ergnomics to not be the best on the triggers (came to a long point almost) and the process for swapping sticks felt cheap on such a pricey controller.

This is one of the better controllers I’ve had. Its got very clicky buttons with a ton of configuration. Its got some great presets for a grab-and-play gamer, or you can configure it through the software to really get into the nitty gritty. The only issue that I have with it is the index buttons on the sides, next to the triggers. I find that I frequently will accidentally hit the button in those intense gaming sessions, but that’s honestly more so my own issue as I’m more frequently using mouse and keyboard.

Purchased this controller after a lot of research to use with my new PC. The controller itself is great! The mouse click buttons are very satisfying to push and work great in game. I also really liked the lay out of the paddles on the back and the removable faceplate. The wireless mode worked great as well couldn’t tell a difference in wired and wireless. Now for the con. ICUE. The software is horrible. Not very user friendly and half the time your custom mapped bottoms and paddles won’t be working due to the software. If you want a great controller and don’t mind spending time remapping and restarting your PC to get it work properly then it’s a definite buy. But if you want something that is hassle free to pick up and play maybe look at a different option.

Coming from an elite series 2 controller, this really surprised me, great build, mouse click triggers face buttons and d pad feel amazing. ICue software is hit or miss. Have to restart computer to switch from wireless to wired. The software can be closed but it is hit or miss if it will save your profile to the controller.

Great controller. The abiity to map functions to the back paddles is amazing. For example, you can macro certain functions that would be on a keyboard but have it work on a controller. Think space bar jump and slide back to back and have it work with a click of a button. The software is buggy though sometimes.
