    Broke after 2 months

If you’re into replacing your controller every 2 months, this is the controller for you. I got my first one in March, it broke in June 4th (2 1/2 months), then I took it by for replacement shortly after, I got another one, had to rebuy the warranty, the that one broke August 6th. 2 controllers broken in 6 1/2 months is crazy. In comparison I have a Scuf impact from 2021 that works better and has like 300x more hours on it. Long story short if you are in the market for a controller get literally any other Scuf. (Especially if you take gaming seriously) Note: all dates are this year obviously.

      Hello,

Sorry to hear you had issues with multiple controllers, please note that you don't have to buy any extra warranty as they'd be covered under the SCUF warranty, do reach out if issues are still persisting.

Love this vs Instinct Pro or Reflex Pro. Fits well in the hand and I absolutely love the features. I recommend watching a YT tutorial on iCue so you make sure you know what settings you want and need.

I switched over from using an Xbox Elite 2 controller. I just wanted to see the difference. The back paddles took some getting used to from my previous controller but that was expected. The controller itself is very good. The software on the other hand is absolutely GARBAGE! It actually ruins the functionality of the controller. It has great features but Corsair has to patched anything to fix issues with trigger responses especially. It's unfortunate because it's a great controller. I wouldn't buy this again for that reason only.

Great Controller with terrible software. You can map buttons without the need for the software, but can't utilize its full functions without it.

Bought the controller but ultimately returned it due to issues with the ICUE App, which is the softwares fault and not the contollers fault. The biggest pro is the buttom 5 keys so that you are able to map any PC inputs (media/keyboard/macros..etc) to it with 3 different profiles. Comparing this to the PS5 Scuf, the pros are that its cheaper, faceplate is swappable, and has extra inputs. The cons would be the weight, latency, compatibility, and design. Right when you pick it up, its noticable that it is neither an XBOX or a Playstation designed controller. It took a while to get used to but the main thing that felt off was the thumbsticks. they feel shorter the the Instinct or the Reflex, and just everything felt unusual. Once you get used to it its fine but the main con in my eyes is the weight and latency. Rumbles are not removable unless you void the warranty and remove them yourself and the polling rate is 500hz, while PS4 and PS5 have 1000hz and 8000hz(PS5) poliing rates. This controller cannot be overclocked. compared to my battlebeaver and scufs ive owned in the past, there is noticable delay while using the rear buttons compared to using the face buttons.

      Hello Ivan,

And thanks for your thorough feedback. This will help improve the product for those like you that require a higher end unit with more features/compatibility, and sturdier design.

Controller is very nice feeling, has extremely satisfying buttons, and feels very comfy in the hands. My only gripe is the software that you need to use in order to use the extra buttons the controller provides.

Along controller the only issue I ever have is with the software. My settings don’t save to the controller so if I want to take it somewhere I need to download the software again and remap buttons.

I use this for gaming on PC, and i absolutely love the feel of the buttons. How clicky they are like a mouse, and the shoulder and side buttons feel really solid, I use this with a steamdeck as well and havent had too much trouble except maybe on my end it doesnt work woth cyberpunk but thay may be a cpntroller profile issue.

Average Ergonomics and Key Mapping Inconsistency

The overall ergonomics aren't as good as my last controller (Astro C40). The side triggers are very easy to accidentally press which makes them less useful to use. The thumb sticks are very light which will take some getting used to (personal preference). The keyboard mappings don't work consistently though I am unsure if that's the controller or the games fault. I bought this controller for its ability to map keyboard input to any button on the controller but for some reason the game doesn't pick up the controller input correctly. For instance for warzone 2 I have the slide only mechanic binded to 'C' and I have the 'C' key mapped to my back paddle but the game doesn't pick up this input and I cannot slide. Through the same process I mapped 'Z' to my other back paddle and binded 'Z' to dive only and this works fine so I'm not sure why one map works but the other doesn't.

This controller is really great. It was a bit of an adjustment coming from an elite series 2 to this. Once you get used to it I do think it is better. Construction is solid and the controller feels good. Almost no input lag when wired and very little when wireless. The macro buttons at the bottom are nice for when your screen recording and want to start/stop. I would recommend this controller over the elite series 2.

Its pretty good. It might just be me but i couldnt close or exit ique to be able to use it and one has to be careful with setting up the controllers setting like mapping/sticks etc settings and make sure setting arent over lapping the games setting as well but for pro gamers if you get the setting adjusted to ones game styles its great. I myself dont like the ergonomics. The back buttons are odd as well and i couldnt get used to it and couldnt use 2 of them, I had to hold the controller a lot different to reach the long back button and the triggers. The response time didnt seem as responsive as my decent precious controller (looking to test the response time on it). I heard the ps5 dual sense controller has a faster response time too, ill be trying that out. Over all for i give it a 8 out of 9. Its still a great controller but the price is a bit to high as well.

Won't center/drifting when brand new out of the box... Needed a 4% deadzone setting right out of the box to stop drift. Not impressed. This one will be going back to the store... Otherwise, I like the controller, Love the mouse click triggers and buttons, they feel so nice.
