Great upgrade to my MacBook Pro
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After having the factory hdd crash multiple times, and being quoted outrageous repair cost I decided to take it upon myself to replace the hdd in my early 2011 MacBook Pro, the process was a breeze, anybody with a couple of screwdrivers and 5 minutes can do it. It's great to finally be able to save a large amount of files without worrying of running out of space. Nice bump from original 320gb to 1tb.

great hard drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Opened the box and there's the hard drive, no cables, instructions mounting hardware, just the hard drive.....No special software needed, I just copied all the information off the C: drive to the new drive, cut the computer off, swapped the sata cables, rebooted and configured the bios and the computer did the rest...

With Geek Squad in store, installation was complete within a few days, my programs were loaded for me, the laptop was ready for work.
