Put it in and it was detected and was ready for formating. Once I had her ssd setup with her od this drive was simple enough to format and has been proeblme free since.

Good Hard Drive

The software available from Seagate would not allow me to clone the original drive. I think the original drive was too far gone. I did get it running with a fresh install of wi dows 10 from a DVD.

Seagate Drives are Reliable

This one appears to be no exception. Please be aware that this is a full height mobile drive and will not fit in many newer laptops. Please confirm before purchase.
