It was hard to find a SATA 6gb/s drive for a laptop for me. Some sites sat this drive is only SATA 3gb/s, which makes is confusing. This drive is running at the faster speed for me, and makes a great secondary drive for my laptop.

The hard drive (HD) in my Toshiba computer went bad and had to be replaced. I love the computer and did not want to spend the money to replace it. It was far less expensive to replace the HD and so I did. I love having my computer working well again.

Not much to say....it's a disk. It worked just fine and it is quiet.

These days everyone wants a review for the products they are selling, so Ill do my best here. But asking for a review on an internal hard drive is like asking how do you like your electricity: It either works or it doesn't. In this particular case it worked just as described. I wanted a 1TB laptop hard drive. This is what it is, and this is what it does.

this hdd is a great model to use in a ps3 if you are running low on hdd space and need more for your digital media.

Good for extra capacity no complaints what I expect from Seagate.

Overall this drive has proven reliable in the two or so months I've had it, but I would say its read/write performance makes it fast by SATA standards. It works for a must-buy replacement in a pinch as I needed it for. Will likely replace it with a SSD soon.

After placing this in my ps3 I thought id have certain settings to change and what have you, but after insertion it was ready to go and im noticing faster downloads and transfers since adding this.

Good value. Fast access. I used this hard drive as a replacement in my son's Dell laptop. The drive is great, but removing the hard drive from his laptop was a real chore. I had to disassemble the entire laptop.

If you need a faster drive, there are more out there.

I didn't have time to read the reviews on this hard drive. It was recommended by one of the techs in the store. Very happy with it. No issues. Price was great for a 1 TB drive

Great purchase for my laptop to work but my laptop have another problem! After I got it back it work for awhile then all of a sudden the charger on the computer was mess up! Waist of money if i cant use it! Can't waist no more money fixing expecially geeks quad can't fix it

Installed this on a customer's laptop. I used cloning software to copy the data from their old, smaller drive. It worked fine, and the drive is going strong more than a month later.
