Purchased this as a secondary drive for my macbook pro (http://bit.ly/15PQipa)...easy to install and works perfectly. Definitely recommend for saving files. I haven't tested as main drive for speediness but file transfer from ssd to hdd is fast.

We bought this hard drive for our Gateway Laptop that had a fried hard drive. It was easy to install and now our laptop is running a lot faster and we have a ton of space too!

My fiance's HP laptop hard drive crashed and died while we were on vacation and as we are planning our wedding she had all that info on her computer. So glad that BB had this in stock and it went in with no problems and has been great. She now has all the room she needs for her photography programs. She does have one little problem of overheating but we are getting that taken care of. This was a great purchase at a great price.

I bought this drive to upgrade my laptop from 160 GB to 1 TB. Installation is a snap. Geek Squad wouldn't guarantee cloning my old drive so I did than myself. My laptop booted up on the new drive without a hitch. I now have plenty of storage without having to drag along an external drive.

Bought it for my PS4. Easy to install. Works great.

My son has Asperger's Syndrome (a form of Autism). A common trait is to play video games A LOT. Naturally he needed more space on his PS3. We came into the store, he spoke with a couple of employees who were gamers as well, they pointed us to this hard drive, came home and he installed it in no time at all. No complaints from him - only talks about how awesome this is and wants to download more games.

The Seagate ATA Hard Drive is easy to install a dummy can do it. Over performance is great. My computer runs so much faster than before and I am able to store more photos and videos.

exactly what i needed. easy to install, bios recognized right away and windows had no problem installing to it. fast, clean and lots of space for a great deal!

My old hard drive went out. So I needed to buy a replacement. Went to best buy asked for help couldn't be happier many types to choose from. Would say it's cheap for the price and works great will buy again if anything happes to my other laptops.

Replacing my hard drive and using the cloning soft wear was the best thing for me to save my laptop. Now I also have more storage at a fraction of the cost for buying a new one. Thank you for all your help BB Mark Freedman very happy consumer.

I had to buy a replacement harddrive for my computer. My husband was able to put this drive in. No problems. Has been working flawlessly. Love the extra space on my computer as well. I would recommend this for a replacement harddrive.

I just brought my 4th Samsung product. I love it. It responds just like I knew it would. It seems to be a bigger version of my of my cell phone. I'm familiar with how it operates but if I didn't it still would be easy and enjoyable.

Upgraded my HP TouchSmart laptop to this 1GB hard drive. It's super fast and not very expensive for the size, and was a breeze to upgrade to.

I bought this hard drive for my macbook pro as a replacement, and if you look up how to install a hard drive online it is fairly easy for someone that can get around with computers. The hard drive has a lot of memory 1 terabyte as it states and it runs very quiet. Speed is the pretty much the same as the last hard drive (original mac hard drive) I had. But overall, it has been a month that I have been using this hard drive and don't have any complaints to date. Hopefully it stays that way and will update if anything goes wrong.

Original drive in a laptop owned by my wife's employer crashed. I do some of their "tech support." Since I had previously created a system restore for this laptop, I was able to do a "quick fix." This Seagate drive was available at a fair price and installed with no problem. Ran the system restore and the user's daily backup and he was back in business. To date, there have been no issues. My only concern, when I pulled the original drive installed by the manufacturer, it was the exact same drive. But, again, so far, so good.

My laptop did not want to boot into Windows (Windows Vista Business), so I replaced the hard drive. It works great now, but I had to do some work to get there (software issues, no problems of the hard drive). I found the instructions on how to replace the hard drive on the computer manufacturer's website. I first cloned the hard drive from the old one (each one inserted into a USB hard drive adapter). When I then inserted the new hard drive, it still did not want to boot into Windows because I had copied the corrupted Windows file configuration, so I had to restore Windows from an old backup, and copy the newer data files from the old hard drive. Windows started then flawlessly, but it took me another day how to figure out get Windows Update to work. The reason for this was that the new large hard drive (1 TB) has 4MB clusters, whereas older hard drives have 512 kB. I finally found a solution from the HP website (although my computer is not HP). I downloaded Intel Rapid Storage Technology and since then everything works fine and there are no issues.

Replaced a failed laptop drive for a friend of my youngest child in college. The storage capacity and performance specifications matched the requirements at a reasonable price in timely manner.

The drive was a great value for the price. I have used Seagate drives before and have always been happy with them. I have installed this drive in an older HP laptop, and so far it has performed flawlessy.
