Purchased this drive due to multiple SanDisk SSD drive failures that left my everyday system useless until rebuild several times. Have been running it for over a year and a half now and based on price to performance/capacity - would recommend. Not as fast as I had hoped but speed is improved over standard hard drives. Most important has been dependable.

i installed the drive in my ps4 and is a great upgrade to the 500gb drive, its much faster on the startup. can really tell the improvement and increase in size.

This HDD replaced my 500gb seagate 7200rpm, so far I've using it for audio/video production, it has shown only a bit better performance when opening usual commands such explorer and resuming hibernation in Windows 8, but the HDD can't help it as WIN8 is designed to have a better performance for such HDDs, so far not impressed with overall performance in my production apps. It's cheap and you get a great value price.

Works fast and haven't had any problem and i have more space on my laptop now

I own this AND a true/pure SSD drive, and the SSD is SLIGHTLY faster, than this hybrid. I've had 0 issues with either. So when I went to buy another HD, I choose to by this AGAIN over a second samsung evo pro. The difference is noticable, but only probably 10% faster with a true SSD, compared to this...which wasn't worth the price, for me. I always recommend this to friends.

Great drive. Fast start up for windows. But difficult for me to really qualify because I installed this just before Windows 10 upgrade that also speeds startup.

Holds 1TB of data as advertised. Easy to install, easy to use. Great value for the price.

Bought this as an upgrade for the family PS4 and it has been a great replacement for it. Great read times and really improved the load times of several games.

This has been great hard drive swap for ps4. It gives you double the space and runs a little faster than the stock.

This was purchased to upgrade a 2011 MacBook Pro. I didn't want to invest the price of an SSD on this machine, but did need more space. I figured why not go with the hybrid drive. All applications run faster and having the extra space is great. I have had it installed for about a month and I have had no problems at all.

My reason for purchase was to upgrade the hard drive in my ps4. It works great and has actually helped to speed up the loading of the system ui and games.

Read about solid state HDs and wanted to check one out. The salesman at BestBuy convinced me that I should go with a hybrid because of the potential data loss if the HD ever crashed. I installed it in my laptop (after I went back to buy a data transfer program, which I would recommend) and could definitely see an improvement in speed -- not a overwhelming difference, but an increase.

I am really impressed with the speed of start up, I feel like I have gotten a whole new computer. Downloaded files from old Hard drive quickly!!
